geovidal:Oil shortage can be due to internal leak or external leak . External leak is mostly due to worn seal eg valve cover seal and there is presence of oil lurking around the engine and even under the ground where the car is parked . Internal leak is mainly due to worn seal right inside the engine eg worn valve seal ,piston ring and the symptoms is mostly noted by white smoke coming out of the exhaust. |
