At this moment (1819hrs Nigerian time) there is total eclipse in Oregon, in US. History being made. The eclipse is moving from state to state in the US. Not all the states though.

Not true, even the above article indicates that...there is a Delta direct flight between Atlanta & Lagos. Most people, especially from the East Coast in the US despise that flight, because you have to travel backwards (westward) to Atlanta, do a stopover before the plane will travel Eastward towards Nigeria, as a result most East Coast travelers prefer going through London or Europe.

The NYC - Nigeria direct flight is a welcome development, it will represent a major competition between European Carriers and Delta for East Coast travelers, though am not completely sold as American carriers' services are not at par with their European, Asian or even Arab counterparts.

Finally!....No more 8 hour lay over.

I actually find the transit time refreshing . Transit time with Lufthansa is 1 hr .

It launches March of 2018, so you might still want to stick to your previous planned airline route. That's if you are planning on traveling before next March. I am absolutely sure it would cost alot more than that of the stop- overs.

They go Lagos too,PHC is just another route they go, the fly direct to Germany then and hour stop over then to 9ja on two planes, one PHC the other Lagos.

Germans? they are xcelent in service,Airport is easy, yes frm JFK.
