wirinet: Israel instils fear on which neighbours. You forget that Egypt in the second war of 1973 did same to Israel by defeating Israel and they had to initiate a cease fire. Egypt decimated their forces and won them. Go and read more. Meanwhile I appreciate Bubus strategy. Thats a way to maintain deterrence. In fact they should have remained in their territory for a while to gain even more concessions from Chad. |

EmekaBlue: I DISAGREE WITH YOU. THE NIGERIAN ARM FORCES ARE HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL. THEIR SETBACK IS BETRAYAL FROM: THE COMMANDERS WHO SETTLED FOR OUTDATED MACHINERY AND WEAPONS, SYMPATHETIZERS OF BOKO HARAM WHO PASS INFORMATION TO THEM, THEIR SUPERIOR MACHINERY AND WEAPONS WITH HIGHLY CRAFTED SPONSORED SUPPLY ROUTES ETC. 4 Likes |

wirinet: Dear Sandhurst trained military tactician, 1.Please in what way is a minor conflict a full scale war? 2. Are we at war or ever have been at with cameroon over Bakkassi? 3. Did you not read and comprehend that the main thing that made him withdraw from his advance and not further plunge Nigeria into an unneccesary war was the threat of courtmashall? 4. Recovering the occupied territories and crossing the border was not enough...until he got close to the most secure city of the country? 5. In all the cases you sited, which of them was not a war situation? 6. Do you remember how the Kuwait war ended? 7. After such invasions, France would clap for him as he rapes and violates her investment? What has the British ever done for Nigeria but polarize it subtly? 8. Do you still think you can lecture me on military strategy? The question should be 'what has your Father achieved asides birthing a bag of spongehead since he should be in the same demographics as Gen. Bubu?' My whole life is still laid out stretched in front of me, a day at a time. Nuqqa puleeez! 2 Likes |

EmekaBlue: War is won first by strategy. The NA army were initially confused by the guerilla tactics of boko haram. Moreover, they were also having command and control problems including low moral and internal sabotage. 1 Like |

CaptainFM1: You must be dreaming if you think any president will agree to a diminishing of the powers of the President of Nigeria. Obasanjo never agreed, Yaradua never considered it. Even meek Jonathan who spent 5 yrs in the saddle was just playing mind games. Ordinarily, when NASS separated the Attorney General from Minister for Justice and other constitutional amendments which is sequel to a gradual restructuring, GEJ vetoed it and sued them to the Supreme court. He categorically stated that he vetoed the amendments because they seek to reduce the powers of the president. 3 Likes 3 Shares |

SalamRushdie: Was he part of the Coup that took out Shagari or he was called in to head the Government after the Coup? I know the Master Coup planner General Babangida was part of the Coup, maybe Abacha too.. But I don't know of Buharis involvement. Pls get back. Thanks |

EmekaBlue: Says who? Get your facts Right! At no time in History can they hold a touch light to the Nigerian Military, one of the most feared and Respected in Africa. Yes Jonathan allowed Corrruption Ravaged some Top brass who actually didn't care about the Boko Haram War and Nunior officers and Boko Haram Captured 14 Local Government Area believing they willl capture the entire Nigeria. Well when Buhari took over how long did it take the Nigerian Military to Recapture the 14Local Government Area? And apart from their Coward Acts of strapping Kids and Young Girls with Bombs to blow up soft targets where is Boko Haram today? Why have they not captured one Single Village again? You might not like President Buhari or whatever, doesn't mean you should change the Facts of History. Thanks 1 Like |

SSBN: IPOB yoots, can you see that bolded portion? This is the same thing that Buhari will tell your so called ICC, he will claimed in the heat of battle he was unaware he had wiped all Biafrans off Nigerian map. By that time, there will be no single Biafran left on Nigerian soil. Those who have ears, let them hear, Buhari has ear problem, so he does not hear in time. 1 Like |

SalamRushdie: Yes we were all that and more, but that didn't stop the Unprecedented Corruption going on. Remember Umaru Dikko? I am not in support of taking out a Legitimate Elected government, but if we had continued, would the Country had survived the looting? Something for all of us to ponder and not just lay the blame on the feet of one person. I was a Teen then and the Buhari/Idiagbon War Against Indiscipline and Corruption seems to be working. I remembered nobody can pee on the Street, I remembered that you can't throw dirt or paper wraps on the Street (see the recent flood cos of clogged drainage system). Nigerians just seems to RESPECT who they FEAR and they seemed to be Terrified of IDIAGBON! 5yrs of that government and just maybe we would have headed to the right direction... But then General Babangida had to come in and basically Destroy everything and Legalized Corruption. Almost 9yrs what did he actually achieved? By the way was BUHARI part of the Coup that took out Shagari? Cos I thought they brought him in to head the Government, but he was never part of that coup. Please confirm. Thanks |
