Leading mobile phone maker, TECNO Mobile unveiled its new family of devices, TECNO Spark and Spark Plus, at a glamorous party hosted to celebrate university students in Lagos.

The party which is tagged the TECNO Spark Party is set to give university students in Nigeria a time of their lives as the maiden event kicked off in Lagos at the Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island.





The TECNO Spark is a new line of photo-focused smartphones from TECNO, targeted largely at millennial youths, especially students who mostly have to live on a budget. Best known for its bright screen and advanced camera features, the Spark and its Plus variant has been termed the brightest smartphones yet.


“We at TECNO are proud to say that this is another great camera device; the next generation Android smartphones designed mainly for an impressive camera and style.

“Anyone who experienced the TECNO Camon CX and who by now understand the amazing camera features TECNO devices flaunts will easily relate with what I’m talking about” said Attai Oguche, Deputy marketing manager, TECNO Nigeria

The TECNO Spark stays true to the revolutionary pixel sensor and denoising camera technologies of latest TECNO smartphone cameras. Its 13MP rear and 5MP front camera provides high-sensitivity camera capabilities which help users get better imaging results anytime, anywhere and under any kind of lightening condition.

The Spark party which had several Nigerian music artistes, the likes of Mayorkun, Immaculate – MTN Project Fame season 6 First runner up, DJ Consequence and many other musicians was an evening to remember as the students could not hold in their joy and appreciation for TECNO.





“I have not had this much fun for a very long time. I really appreciate TECNO for this gesture” said a 300 level student from the University of Lagos.

The party is just one of the many way TECNO is giving the students something to remember for life as the mobile giant also announced to give four young creative minds 1 million Naira each to Light-Up their dream in the “TECNO 1million Dream promo”, which kicks off immediately after the launch.



“TECNO MOBILE has always been a people’s oriented brand and this is evident in not just our culture and products but also in the nature of projects and things we do in our society.

“The 1 million dream Promo is one of the ways we hope to continue giving back to the people, helping them achieve their dreams” said Jesse Oguntimehin, TECNO Nigeria Deputy Marketing Manager, Digital.


TECNO Mobile is partnering with 3C Hub to kick-start the sales of the Spark devices in Nigeria. Starting from today, 19th of August, 2017, the TECNO Spark can be purchased at all 3C Hub retail outlets Nationwide for N32,800.


The Spark Plus smartphones will be available for purchase at all 3CHUB outlets and other major mobile retail stores in Nigeria at the end of the month.

If you think tecno is using Nigerians to make more, even Nigerians have gotten a lot from them. They give back to the society more than any other brand

Yeah, It's nice. And this is the first of two variants. The Tecno Spark Plus is rumoured to come soon. It sports 2GB Ram while this has 1GB.
