The 15-year old son of Nollywood actress and Evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, Raymond Ekwu, has died. Raymond who she had by her ex-husband, Charles Ekwu, in 2002, has been with Sickle Cell Anemia from birth. He died from complications associated with the disease on Monday, August 21st.

She has invested for 15 years and can't even reap.

That's the painful aspect of death.

We need to speed-up research and find a cure to this deadly disease. The Europeans, Asians and Americans will not do the dirty work for us.

I lost a kid brother to this disease in '04. He was almost 22. Since then I've always been afraid when I see people with disease. I always feel "This is untimely death waiting to happen."

They'll not even marry AS and AS abroad, we too should avoid it here, thats the cure and nothing more.

All these abiku in the days of our parents were due to SS and nothing more than that. No spirituality involved, it was genotype. But no technology to tell them
