Good evening, my Acer 8.1 windows laptop that is practically brand new suddenly stopped coming up when turned on but when you charge it, it shows that it's charging.

A computer engr checked it and said it's the motherboard. I took elsewhere for a second opinion and it was same diagnosis. Now the problem is they couldn't get the motherboard to buy here in Abuja, reason being that the laptop has USA certification so it will be very rare before that kind of mother board will be found.

And really, the laptop was bought from USA (a gift actually ).

Sir please is there anyway I can get it fixed? My location is Abuja.

Your issue is understood.

Your laptop is wouldn't be supported in this region of the world as laptops are generally made for specific region.

It would be hard to give you a positive feedback till your laptop is diagnose by the center.

Most technicians around only give level 1 and 2 support.

The center has resources for level 1 to 4 support, therefore fixes motherboard issues depending on faults.

Another way is to try and get your laptop part online.

My gionee m5 suddenly stopped detecting my signals and in settings, it says "radio off".

My two imei no are still there.
The bluetooth, WiFi are working.
Everything is fine with the phone, just the sim signals that are missing.

What can I do please to fix it?

There are two versions of most spare parts, the authentic one directly from the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and the common one in the market usually from china

Please be careful of where you get your valuable devices repaired!!!
