Thousands of Golden Rays, stretching all the way to the horizon.

Twice a year, these stingrays migrate in the Gulf of Mexico to warmer waters –from the Yucatan Peninsula to Florida and back.

Don’t get too close to these seemingly innocent creatures. Their poisonous sting, designed protection against sharks, is deadly to humans.

Some brave divers still dare to swim with these majestic animals, who are actually quite shy and will only attack in self defense.
