Correct again. It is the weaponry array, it's range and accuracy that makes our Tucanoes deadly.

Normally fierce rivals, Elbit Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries are co-operating on an upgrade package for elderly Lockheed Martin F-16As.
Israel retired its "Netz" fighters earlier this year and is now looking to sell the 40-strong inventory, which would be extensively modernised by the partners.
No details of the enhancements has been revealed, but the Israeli air force previously upgraded of its F-16C/Ds under the "Barak 2020" initiative.
The aircraft gained an avionics and mission system enhancement, as well as structural strengthening.
Modifications will begin only when a customer has signed for the aircraft.
The F-16As have been in Israeli service since 1980, but most recently have been employed as aggressor aircraft for training missions.

Guys, please could we let this Tucano argument rest. We have trashed it enough already. So we can properly enjoy our 4 days of holiday.

Thank you Mr Paveway engineer. Why stop at 20? Why not say 50? If all glide bombs on the market are released under equal atmospheric conditions and release techniques, they'll all land at the same distance? Stop making stuff up.

this is what you posted, if you dont see anything wrong with it then fine.
secondly, Other African countries has guided bombs and it hasn't changed the balance of power or Status quo. numbers are insignificant in real life. having the ability to design, develop and manufacture is what matters. 400 units wont last forever.

the high intensity missions flown by IAF and the on these airframes , common NAF is not stupid.
it'll cost a fortune even to maintain.

2 squadrons OF Mig-35s will be a far better deal than getting old retired f16A's with ancient avionics.

The JF 17 is a light fighter, (too light for a light fighter) it will always try to approach the capabilities of the F16 but will never reach or match it.

You all should know invading another country isn't all about dropping bombs. Give the republic or Gambia 500 su35 and and 2000 eurofighter typhoon. Successfully Invading Russia will still be almost impossible.

Imagine something like the krashuka-4 waiting for you, s400 and other electronic warfare components trust me they'll end up loosing.

All your bombs, missiles will be faced with missiles from s400 while another unit of s400 is tasked at laughing on the aircrafts.

In Africa, it's only "we we" that our technology can serve.

one thing I have learnt concerning defence matters in all this years is that OVERALL SYSTEM.. NOT PLATFORMS is what matters.

individual platforms does not make your win wars but how you integrate it into an overall systems and strategy is what gives you the edge.

whether we buy Falcon or MiGs or Flankers doesn't really decide the outcome (victory or defeat).

Isreal could sell them to us In secret it wont be their first time selling fighter jets in secrets ask South Africa
