I think the Igbos should stay and plan how they can be the dominant tribe in the country. The difference in their population compared with the Hausa and Yoruba is not too much. If the Hausas are up to 40 million, the Igbos cannot be less than 30 million. The gap might even be smaller as there is virtually no village you go to in Nigeria you don't see an Igbo man.

My suggestion: Increase your birth rate. It is a long term plan. Give like 15 - 20 years, it will be the dominant tribe. Then sponsor a consensus candidate and take over.
