Few People Support Justice In Nigeria...why by Stingman(op): 11:22am On Sep 02, 2017
It is amazing when you read views expecially on Nairaland...Approximatelly 78% of Nigerians mostly people from the north and south west want peace and unity, but they hardly want to look at the other side...injustice, fairness and equity...Why is this so?

Is it possible to have peace and unity without justice and fair play?

Why would the central government create these policies:

1. Federal character.

2. Quota system.

3. Different cut of marks for children going into federal unity schools.

...Only to use them to favour the northern part of the country...They are never used for the southern part of the country. Would these foster the peace and unity our compatriots from the North and SW want? Would it bring the desired peace and unity the country craves for development?

1. Some of them are beneficiary of the injustice through BMC
2. Religion & Ethinicity has blindfold some of these unity beggars
3. Some are born Zombie

The funny thing is that they equally want peace and unity with their parochail mindset..

Corruption and undue Centralisation of Policies and Resource control.

I have a question for you: Do you support those who advocate that rotational presidency be included in the constitution or the party arrangements that unofficially rotate posts between the North and South? Do you know that because of political astuteness of the North, the South would be at a disadvantage if left on its own resources in that regard?
There's nothing wrong in policies that address disadvantages and encourage all-inclusiveness. America at one time had what they call Affirmative Action for the Blacks.

Why did GEJ & D.Mark not pass the NCR when they were in power? Did Tambuwal scheme them out of commonsence?

There's a lot of insincerity and hypocrisy in these people and that's why they don't see any wrong in the way they reason.

...and you believe the policy is used for all Nigerians? You will agree that the policy is crafted for the north...

Do we then do away with stipulations like those which say each state must in one way or the other be represented in ministerial positions, whether their population is 1 million or 10 million? In another vein, considering landmass, why would the SE have at least 5 ministers and Borno state have only 1, when Borno state (not NE oo) is nearly 3 times the size of SE? Why would most SS states b e given 13% of Nigeria's oil revenue, when their statuary standing is not above those of other states? Even in education, why would southerners be admitted to federal universities in the North when they're federal ones their too, and when still they'll have it easier than the natives, cost wise? Why would their be catchment area for a university, in say, Anambra, putting other Nigerians at a disadvantage.
.
All these try to address issues of representation and equal distribution, because if left alone others would never smell the pot.
