ONYII4TRUT:Yea! I feel you but what I'm saying saying the truth and we can't deny it. Igbos, hausas and yorubas have cold blood against each other. With regards what you said I do agree and this is why I support re-structuring becos appointments will now be by the people and for the people; hence nobody will blame anybody for their failures but our kinsmen. That takes me to my next point that the north are annoying cos they seems to oppose anything that could help this country but as Nigerians I still love them but it's frustrating how they act and think. If it was another tribe the left office for as long as pmb did they won't accept. So for me, re-structuring is the first option for now. My last point is that why call your beloved country a zoo? That technically makes you an animal. If some section of miscreants have messed up this great nation, it doesn't mean we are less Nigerians. That part is what I disagree with becos it also comes around to hunt whoever says Nigeria is a zoo. If someone based on his own personal experience dealing with FG makes him think Nigeria is a zoo becos he was locked up forcefully after court order, that doesn't mean all Nigerians must see Nigeria as a zoo. Follow follow is what I call it. Many of us move freely and we still think we are in a zoo? Only animals are locked up but kanu has his reason for calling 9ija a zoo cos he is also ban from traveling but the common man who says he is in a zoo is free. However, kanu is now breaking same court order (western civilized practice) and that can be seen as acting irrationally (against the civilized order he preaches) and why didn't we say he is an animal becos animals are stubborn and take order with a stick? |

anyebedgreat:But the question remains whether there is marginalization or not against the South Easterners or not? If you say there is no marginalisation you try and prove it in this current regime. |

This is another lesson for those shouting nepotism or favoring one side against the other If those selected for any appointments put nigeria first and drive development close to nigeria irrespective of where they come from nobody will complain I think we should start demanding for accountability from our leaders |

ONYII4TRUT:The marginalisation is there in your minds. It doesn't exist in reality. As it is, you can't prove it. |

Oju4190:Nobody is begging you not to remove igbos from your sports. Remove igbos from sports and see if there will be anything worth sport in Nigeria again. Igbos are really the problems of this country ,yet there is no igbo man in Nigeria top 10 most corrupt presidents since 1960. Inbred yoruba mongrel. |

gawu1:Mikel an indigene of anambra is what you want to credit to the north? I can give you 10 players born in the SE better than mikel, i am certain you can not give me a single northern player better than mikel. It is in the blood, mr northerner. Football and indeed any team sports in Nigeria is an igbo thing. |

Even Basket ball, another team sports is dominated by igbos. No wonder they are making impacts. The rest of Nigerian sub-sectors dominated by northern parasites have been ran moribund. |

Get the Bleep outta here!! Useless fool,if the igbos were to be removed and replaced with hausas or yorubas,u guys will be all over the Media shouting marginalization, thats how immature u are..hypocritess,u always ditch the truth for whatever suites u,u dont see anything wrong in igbos dominating the sporting sector, but if the reverse is the case, thats when it is wrong and u feel short changed..talking about politics,do u have to be a president to be corrupt? How many president did igbos even produce!?!?,maybe there is not even a single corrupt igbo politician out there, all saints and holy..pls dont try to take everyone as a fool here, bot everyone is as delusional as u!! cstr1000: |
| Re: Reno Omokri's Political Take On Nigeria-Cameroon Match by cstr1000: 2:33pm On Sep 02, 2017 |
ItsTutsi:Igbos did not dominate the sports sector because they created a national policy of discrimination like we see in other sectors. If there is anybody better than igbos in sports, you can add them and remove igbos, no problem. na your body go tell you. ![]() On the other hand, there is no justification for igbo marginalization in other real sectors that involve educated technical input. We are among the most educated in Nigeria, far educated than the north. An average igbo student submits to a higher standard of admission in both unity schools and tetiary institutions all over Nigeria, and yet we still have the numbers. Anambra, Imo, and Abia have the highest cut-offs for unity schools admission in Nigeria compared to 22 for zamfara an many parts of the north. According to the NUC, Imo state has the highest numbers of professors in Nigeria. So how they can you justify such a highly educated people getting no single slot in Nigeria's national petroleum agency and many other agency when barely educated people in the north get the far majority. Is that how you think Nigeria will excel the way the sports is excelling? We didn't have an igbo president since azikiwe, so you can't accuse igbos of being resposnible for Nigeria's bad state when we have not even had a chance yet. |

U forgot to have let us know how ur women from the south east region are topping the chart for prostitution all over Europe and how ur men are busy developing other countries through dubious means eminating from activities such as counterfiet fruad, bogus, deceit and all sort of illicit and illegal ventures..with the way u boost and show boat online, one would have thought igbos descendants of the Israelites, but thats just another scam ![]() cstr1000: |

ItsTutsi:You still have not debunked my assertion. You are just displaying straw-man argument. No, igbos do not engage in international prostitution rings ,sorry. We all know who populate italy and southern Europe. It is funny how you conveniently ignored yahoo-yahoo. The one destroyer of Nigerian global image in the developed world. And we all know igbos are not the ones doing that. Atleast as a significant player. |

gawu1:I dey tell you and I hope we can stop all these fighting for God's sake. When I was in the north, I didn't feel like a stranger and here in Lagos I'm at home and the feeling in the east is home too. Football does not know colour or tribe when a goal is scored. |

cstr1000:I am not a chestbeater. What I said above that you are disputing is verifiable. You can do that and stop being doubtful thomas. Let me tell you, I knew Mikel sometime around 1999/2000 in an under 13 tournament at Jos, in which he played for plateau state. They eliminated us 5 - 4 through penalty shoots at quota final. We later met again in a camp at Kaduna state. I withdrew from that camp due to injury. Mikel speaks hausa fluently than he speaks Igbo, his biological language. You may not believe this, but that's the truth your Ipob antics can not change. |
| Re: Reno Omokri's Political Take On Nigeria-Cameroon Match by cstr1000: 3:34pm On Sep 02, 2017 |
gawu1:There is no chest beating here. You have no point. Mikel Obi is from anambra state. His full name is John Michael Nchekwube Obinna, which is an igbo name unless plateau is now igboland. Mikel Obi's father is from anambra state though mikel grew up in Jos just like many igbos grow up in many other parts of Nigeria and somehow assimilate in the place they grew up in. It doesn't stop them from being igbo. |

Is there any northerner doing well presently that didn't or doesn't get call-up to come represent Nigeria? same goes to other tribes. You guys should stop being stupid and insensitive! |

Let me clarify ur doubt before u get carried away with this educational trumpery, not everyone who has good life is educated and not everyone who leads a good life is educated, what is deemed by an education?,an education is difined as a process or action of educating or being educated,it does not restrict education to being a wholly academic process, this means a person educated in music, sewing, sport etc counts towards as having an education..im sure u know there are a lot of university drop outs and those that haven't gone to school fairing far better than the likes of those with various degrees, academic inclination is not the only way to life, what works for u might not work for others,a lot of people have been ditching education for other source of living,u talk about how imo has the highest number of professors, but thats not a criteria before u delve into politics, majority of all the western countries are not governed by those with prof or doc attached to thier names, even ur saviour Donald trumps educational background was put into question during the campaign..with all ur educatinal capabilty and capacity, the first thing almost every thinks of when the igbos are mentioned is not ur eductional prowess but the fraudulent activities u know how to do best ,education didnt start with u and wouldnt end with u,there are billions of people that aquired it before u,so dont carry matter like say u be from Isaac Newton lineageOn ur assertion "If there is anybody better than igbos in sports, you can add them and remove igbos, no problem" so the NFF management could not find significant number of players from other regions that could compete, even tho they know there could be tendency from other regions to feel marginalised, that makes perfect sense,i wouldnt be suprised by that since ur protecting ur interest where it suites u,but what an irony bcuz Buhari can finally justify himself base on ur narrative, that him too hasnt found anyone for the mean time suitbale to be placed in a vital position apart from the hausa/fulani and yoruba that are occupying the position, till he finds one,he will maintain the status quo..those that sounds logical just like how u painted it? cstr1000: |

cstr1000:Where did you read me to have said Mikel is a northerner? I don't want to believe that you have comprehension problem. I will say it again emphatically: Mikel's parents are eastern nigerians residing in the north. Mikel was born and brought up in the north. I am not interested here in claiming Mikel for north. I am only telling you what is factual reality no sentiment can change. Take it or leave it! |

ItsTutsi:You are a disgrace to this country! Your words emanate nothing but hate and bigotry! When u learn to see the brighter side of things then you will learn to appreciate diversity! These Igbos u are trying to nail, they are the one that have help develop all the top cities of the country to the level they are now through their commercial activities and that is the truth whether you like it or yes! The country through marginalisation has a vision of killing their dreams but they still strive and excel against all odds! They go out of the country and make records! Yet you people don't see anything good about them! Let us put an end to this hate and bigotry today... there are endless possibilities that await us if we do! #peace |
