The Bible never mention Hell and Fire together. Hell could never have been a place of torment. The root meaning of the word Hell means to hide or to cover. Even Wikipedia confirmed that some unscrupulous individuals associated Hell with torment.

Kudos bro. Once you don't agree with their general but wrong beliefs, they see you as strange and they'll start calling you names.

For Ye Shall Know the Truth, and the Truth Shall Set you free. For those who create hell in their minds and give it oxygen of life, so shall they receive what ever they ask for. We live in the thoughts and mind of the creator beings and we are ourselves the microcosm of the whole. We are the products of thoughts, our thoughts and that of cosmic mind. What we think of, is what becomes. Hell is real for those who give it thought and oxygenate it with their feelings of emotions cos emotion is e-motion - energy in motion.

The Bible doesn't say much about what heaven is supposed to be like. Most of the claims about heaven are exaggerations of the Bible. The Bible says the Gates are made of pearl. What are the gates for? Are they made just as an excuse to irritate clams? Are the gates supposed to keep someone out or to keep souls from escaping?

The sales pitch for heaven is that there is only happiness and no sorrow. But it also says that many people's loved ones won't be there. Since they can't feel sorrow about that, are they ecstatic that their loved ones are being tortured forever? Either your memories are removed or your human empathy is removed. Is it really you that is left over once some parts of you have been removed?

If life matters to me now, it will always have mattered to me, even when I am gone. Death cannot change that.

Your best hope is to be locked in a gold cage with your memories of having an actual life being erased just so you can kiss ass for eternity.

Life is pleasant, death is serene. The transition might be troublesome but we all have to go through it. You shouldn't fear death so much. Heaven and hell are imaginary. You should reject the indoctrination. Life is much better that way.

But for an acclaimed Atheist to be so infatuated and interested in what he doesn't believe in is confusing to me.

It just amazes me how lower you could ever go, my guess is anything lower than this will leave you mad.
And to be honest you with, Christianity is far more logically better than your primitive Islamic doctrines that was never designed for the 21st century due to its primitive undertones, and must not be literally practiced in this 21st century, less the world will result into a religious battle ground.

PS: I'm a freethinker, so I actually ain't taking sides, just than you needed to be told the truth.
Atheist and freethinkers often don't debate or argue on issue relating to Islam cos its too illogical and shallow for any feasible fellow to want to argue about, as matter of fact, Quran and the hadits are like a poor copy of the bible and the Christian faith.

Can Hell/Hellfire be defined if at all there is such word as ''hell fire''? The answer Yes. Please can someone extract a sane definition of hell/hellfire from this scripture, Matthew 10:28 And fear not them who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell/(hell fire). Therefore, what is hell? What is fire? What is hell fire?.

Hell simply means grave yard which you have noted.
And if Hell is reserved for wicked people why did Acts 2:31 noted that Jesus Christ went to Hell(grave) but God didn't abandoned him there. Was Jesus Christ wicked?
Job 14: 13 noted God will conceal him in Hell(grave) .Was Job wicked?

In Jeremiah 7:31 God condemned the people of Judah for burning their sons in fire, a thought that God noted have never entered his heart. So if this thought God noted through the Prophets in the above Verse was wrong, so why this concept of Hellfire?

Even the Lake of Fire you noted the Apostle in Revelation 21:8 stated that is means second death not perpetual fire burning the unrighteous.

In 1John 4:8 noted that God is love which He no doubt is. The concept of people "burning in Hell fire" forever do not agree with God's dominant quality of Love.

In facts, most people today just go to Churches for fear of Hellfire not actually because they are willing to serve our loving God, while many are atheist because they have come to see God as wicked just because of this hellfire preachers. Try to consider these few Bible verses and make more research over it . Thank you.

Chapter 11.

Contrast between Hell and Grave

This chapter puts together in summary the contrast between hell and grave so as to refute the claim of sects like the Jehovah’s Witness who say that hell is just the physical grave.

1.Hell is vividly pictured as a place that burns with fire kindled by God himself. There is no fire in the physical grave and as such could not be referring to the grave. - De 32:22

2.Hell is a place of sorrow. There is no such thing as sorrow in the grave since bodies buried in the grave are lifeless. -2Sa 22:6, Ps 18:5, Ps 116:3

3.The grave is usually a shallow debt of about 6ft. Hell is very deep such that is used in contrast to heights such as heaven. - Job 11:8, Ps 139:8, Am 9:2

4.The physical grave can be seen with the optical eyes but hell cannot be seen with the optical eyes. Only God sees hell. - Job 26:6

5.The physical grave is a place where the physical bodies of all deaths are buried. Hell is a place where only the wicked goes to.- Ps 9:17, Pr 5:3-5, Pr 7:27

6.Grave is a place where the physical bodies of the deaths are buried. Hell is the place where the souls of the wicked go to.- Ps 16:10, Ps 86:13

7.Death bodies are usually gently lowered in the grave at burial. The souls of the wicked descend into hell suddenly - Ps 55:15

8. The size of the grave is just big enough to accommodate the dead body. Hell is so spacious that you can even make your bed there. - Ps 139:8

9.Grave is an unavoidable place where bodies of dead people are buried. Hell is avoidable. - Pr 15:24, Pr 23:14, Mark 9:43-47.

10. The size of the physical grave does not change. Hell increases in size to accommodate new intakes. - Isa 5:14.

11. The grave is an inanimate entity. Hell is personified as a woman. - Isa 5:14. Hell is also personified as a horse rider - Revelation 6:8

12. You cannot confine fallen angels in physical graves. Fallen Angels are confined in hell. - Isa 14:15.

13. In the grave, death bodies do not talk. Souls in hell can talk and cry and thirst. - Eze 32:21, Jonah 2:2, Luke 16:19-31.

14. It is men who bury people in physical gave. It is God who cast souls into hell. Eze 31:16-17, Luke 10:15.

15. The physical grave has no gates. Hell has gates.- Mat. 16:18.

16. The grave poses no danger to the dead. Hell is pictured as a dangerous place to go. - Matthew 5:22 , Matthew 23:33.

17. The bodies in the grave are lifeless. Souls in hell are conscious and are in torment.- Luke 16:23.

18. The grave has no fire burning in it. Hell is pictured as a place with unquenchable fire. - Mark 9:46, James 3:6.

19. The worms in the physical grave can die since every living thing dies. The worms in hell do not die. - Mark 9:46

20. Grave is used in plural form. Hell is never used in plural form.
