You can use the Benz approved oil MB 236.10. You can also use the newer Chrysler ATF +4 (longer life) which is more expensive.

Your engine requires 7.4Litres of 5w30 oil. Synthetic is preferrable.
Your transmission requires Volvo 97340, 97341. Since this is not locally available, Mercon V transmission fluid is also recommended.

We'd be glad to help you get these oil.

Depends on your car and the ATF. Your owners manual should also tell.

But in Naija, wink you observe the colour of the ATF. If very pinkish colour, then oil is still good. But if it's getting dark or smelling burnt, then it's time for a flush.

But in best practice, regular ATFs should be changed after 30,000miles while the newer synthetic ATFs (ATF+4 from Chrysler) can go about 80,000miles.

IS IT TIME FOR A COOLING SYSTEM FLUSH?

The radiator and cooling system in your vehicle holds a water and antifreeze mixture called Permeant Coolant/Antifreeze to help your engine maintain proper temperature and provide heat and defrost functions. The mixture prevents your vehicle from overheating in the summer, and prevents the engine from freezing during the winter. The amount of permanent coolant required varies from vehicle to vehicle.
Radiators, cooling & heating systems require Cooling System Flushes from time to time because the by-products produced during normal wear and tear of the system and the decay of the chemical mix in the permanent coolant can dirty the system with impurities and rust. These particles can block the system and prevent the radiator from performing the way the engine requires. It may also reduce the amount of heat available to heat the cabin and defrost the windows. By flushing and servicing the system, you will help extend the life of your vehicle and prevent costly breakdowns and repairs.
WHEN TO GET A RADIATOR FLUSH
There is no set rule for how often you should get your radiator flushed. The frequency of radiator flushes will depend on several factors, such as your own driving habits and the quality of antifreeze you use. Occasionally flushing your car's radiator will help extend the useful life of your vehicle.
Over time, the antifreeze in your vehicle may become acidic and lose its ability to help protect the engine from extreme temperatures. You can purchase a pH level litmus test at your local auto parts store to test the acidity level of the antifreeze. Simply insert one of the litmus test strips into your car's radiator and refer to the color guide on the box. If the test reveals that the water and antifreeze in your radiator is too acidic, then it's time to get a radiator flush.
While there is no set schedule for getting a radiator flush, almost all car manufacturers recommend that you drain and refill your radiator with quality antifreeze at least every other year, or every 40,000 to 60,000 miles - whichever comes first. Occasionally flushing the radiator will help keep it clean and prevent buildup of dirt and sediment. Fresh antifreeze will also help protect your car engine from extreme cold or hot temperatures.

Nissan recommends any of these oil Matic-D, Matic-J, Matic-K

But if too expensive for you, a good Dexron III will do.

I inadvertently replaced my ATF with Type III instead of the recomended type IV 2months ago. So far there have not been any issues. Should I change it again so soon? Are there problems with continuing with the Type III

Nissan recommends SAE 5w30 oil. And your engine requires 5Litres. After refill, check oil level.

We recommend American Mobil-1 for your ride.
