They are talking as is that incident was the first and only case of post election violence in Nigeria or in Africa. What were the circumstances surrounding the killings: what caused it, who carried it out and how could an incident carried out in far away Bauchi be linked to Buhari is another thing that most of the reports and those propagating it have always evaded - except to resort to innuendos.

What these hate merchants keep forgetting is that the govt in power at the time would have welcomed any reason to have arrested Buhari, as the then head of the opposition; in fact it did, it set up a committee which thoroughly investigated the matter and completely exonerated Buhari from any complicity or culpability.

Unfortunately, his detractors are aware that their are many gullible ppl; many among them also predisposed to hating the president and are therefore exploiting this opportunity to disparage the president.

Sadly, the mainstream media seem to be aiding and abetting these ppl in propagating such falsehood e.g. the Dog and the Baboon and lately the 97% and 5% statements are good examples of how the president is being deliberately misquoted and misrepresented.

That has been the issue we've been facing, forgeting the cause of an incident but roped with the symptom. People will just wake up and say they kill but they would never tell what make that person killed and that's why we've been having recurring incidences on every elections even at grassroots. If there is any one that have suffered hate speech most in this country is Buhari. The PDP was able to use the media against him since 2003 till date but it could not gel in 2015 because of the resolve to oust Jonathan then. They used AIT, NTA, and some other media outlets but it doesn't workout.
Well, there are two sides to a coin, they are always fixed to see the top and let go the bottom. Until we see scrutinise both the top and bottom, there will be no headway.

Bros, I salute your courage for decisive actions. Please, what happened exactly? Is it that the northerners never wanted non-indigenes even after voting for PMB or is there something else you observed? I never supported PMB because he is not a good national leader. He is more of a religious sectionist than a political leader. All the times he was ever given leadership position, he had a surrogate who actually called the shots!
In 1983, he was figure head while Idiagbon called the shots. In the 90's at PTF, he was never in control, his cousin called the shots and stole Nigerians blind!! Even now that he is Head of State, he is not really in control of the ship of the nation!! If not for the politics of sit-tight and nepotic conmen attached to him, Osinbajo would have called the shots effectively. In any way, he wouldn't have had any chance in the last election if ex-president Jonathan was more decisive and courageous against corruption and policy implementations. I am not a PMB supporter but looking back and at the present, if ex-president GEJ was returned, the Nigerian wealth would have been looted completely dry by now.

I'm yet to see any evidence of the fake statements credited to Buhari by PDP losers. The 2011 election violence had nothing to do with Buhari but rather aggrieved Nigerians in the North because it was their turn and Yar'adua died making South rule longer than agreed.
