I am an Igbo man married to a Yoruba lady. I am a winner and will continue to win. I support truth, fairness and justice and hate lies, hypocrisy and injustice. I see people who say things like this your statement and the person you quoted as simply immature. I thought this thread is about the hypocrisy of preaching against what one is allegedly guilty of. Why derail it with childish ethnic rants?

Poor English student that is what you are. Read to understand. I suppose Osewa is Itsekiri and I still suppose so. Seun being an Egba man is what I am not sure of. You can take a gun and kill yourself if you feel so pained by my assumption. Ntoor grin

LOL. ..Seun isn't an Egba guy again...but Itsekiri.

You have serious mental issues. See TB Joshua.

Muslims commonly refer to Jews as swines and pigs and this is coming from Islamic scripture as narrated by Mohammed who described Jews as descendants of Apes, baboons and swines.

Muslims also refer to Christians as filthy dogs for elevating Jesus to a God.

Facts
Obviously you are a lost case. Sorry bro.

"When two elephant fight, it is the grass that suffers" what does this quote means? Common sense doesn't mean because grass is mentioned in the Bible Deut: chapter x, it means hate speech

That will burn Nigeria to the ground. The North is actually stronger than the South. They got the population, they fill the defence, they have lots of rich people, they are loved more by the Whites and most importantly they are ONE!

On the other hand we here in the South are just fooling ourselves.
stronger?... only because the south is divided, talking about population self.. from last census at 2006, when Nigeria was still around 140m,
Overall, the North leads with a total population of 75,025,166 while the South follows with 64,978,376, the north also has a larger percentage of older population. Let's all quit hate speeches, peace and tranquility is priceless.

Boss, I'm planning to serve in kano for Nysc, though I have friends there that we schooled together at Bells university, they are kano indigenes and were on scholarship, I really don't know if I should still go there, though I feel opportunities are there and it is relatively safe compared to other northern States
Bro there's no opportunity in Kano that you won't find X2 of in Lagos , PH and Abuja. if you're going to serve later this year , you have to know that you'll be in kano till mid-late 2018 when the election campaigns will be going on. The north isn't usually safe at these periods ....if you're Yoruba stay in the south , if you're Igbo stay in the East if you're from the south south stay in the SS.... My two cents bruh

This is the problem we have been facing as a people. Always neglecting the basis in an issue but dig in to the periphery.
Well, it was bad for people to have taken laws into their own hands and maimed lives but we need to be very careful, especially if we are in the dark of happenings. The type of rigging and scientific rigging PDP devised then can make Pope to lose his cool. Since 2003 elections in Nigeria has-been marred with rigging. Specifically in 2007 when Presidential Election petition was taken to Supreme Court, I'm their lead judgement it was clearly stated that the election did not complied with electoral law but the justices still went ahead to upheld the election. Before the judgement delivery, the then President, Musa Yar'adua did say publicly that he knows the election that brought him in was rigged and it was corroborated by the apex Court. Come 2011, the same scenario played out. We need to know that election can only be rigged where you have popularity. Wanting to right where you're not popular always lead to unrest and that was what happened even in 2015 in some states. Especially during gubernatorial elections that death rate was high in many states. When the case was taken to the same apex Court in 2011 it was always affirmed that the election did not meet up with electoral law but they still went ahead to upheld the election. All these issues are the one given birth to unrest. When the will of the people are Surchanged and those to correct the abnormality refused because of the fear that preoccupied their minds. Kenya just broke the jinx and set pace for Africa.
Ordinarily all the elections from 2003 -2011 are to be won by PDP but greediness made them want to over-rigged.
For Buhari to say the election in 2011 was rigged has not constituted to hate speech. After the election same day he bear his mind when he was interviewed and he said, it has already be rigged. That wasn't an hate speech. Point of reminder, the baboon and monkey will soak in blood wasn't paid during election but in 2013 in reference to a question asked him. In Kenya the opposition figure, Raila, said same that the election was scientifically rigged. I listened to them when they say it wasn't rigged during accreditation and voting but it was rigged during collation. The number that voted was not the number announced by IBDC.
Countless number of politicians in and out of Nigeria have publicly announced that election was rigged to certain individual favour, those were not hate speeches.
The bottom line, rigging an election in an unpopular environment gave birth to what happened in 2011 and same happened in 2015 in some states and not because he said election was rigged.
Can we also say it was because someone said, any where you hear A P C kill them also gave birth to The Killing in 2015.
Aside from Fayemi Kayode and Jonathan Goodluck that voluntarily conceded defeat that I know, 98percent always say, the election was rigged. It wasn't his word that caused the killing but rigging in an unpopular environment and this happen everywhere in Nigeria.
People will just go and dig out issue that suit their thought to make them stay afloat and on the cause leave the substance and chasing shadow. I've said it taking people lives in atonement for rigging is satanic and unlawful but we must know is not everybody that can bear staying as you Sur-changed them. Many people till date have vowed not to vote because their vote doesn't count. In 2007 I went to pooling boot to vote, on approaching I was told to go home that they needed not any one vote and immediately I turned back but if it was someone that cannot tolerate such, that would've resulted to another untold. Until the game is played according to the rule of the game, we'll continue to experience such. And I bet 2019 election, a party will still come out to say it was rigged.
you v your point.
But why is the north so radical that they don't know who to lynch except innocent corpers?
Can't they protest peacefully or match to Aso Rock in 2011?
Mr Man, am from the west.
PMB looks like a man that has sentiments of his people. He goofed in 2011. Also, Baboon & Dogs speech was said in 2011, not 2013.

's not just about Buhari hate speech blablabla. Can you mention the speech Buhari gave which you term hate speech?
If Buhari says if I am rigged out of this election this time, I won't accept it,does this amount to hate speech?
Sentiment apart, Buhari words in its clearest form, the words he spoke which is obviously twisted by his enemies is a simple hausa idiomatic expression meaning "if I am rigged again, I won't let go.
And according to you, he was 'rigged again' in 2011. Is it not then the fact to say that his desperation to be president made him to kind of brainwash his 'educated' supporters that anytime he lost, it must be as a result of rigging? Can you imagine that Mrs Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 United States presidential election despite leading in virtually all preelection polls? If she were someone in Nigeria, she wouldn't take it and probably people would have died as a result. Sentiment aside, may be people wouldn't have been killed if he had graciously accepted defeat. Thanks.

You are correct sir. He NEVER made any hate speech. Not at all. Not even in the United States of America about 97 percent versus 5 percent. He doesn't hate Igbos. He has been treating them fairly in appointments the same way OBJ did to his Yoruba kinsmen after 1999 elections and the same way GEJ did to the North after 2011.

The hallmark of a truly educated person is the ability to think for yourself! People like wole Soyinka knew better, people like him were around and witnessed first hand the brutality and illegality of buhari's coup against our democracy..people like him knew back then that it was wrong and a treasonable offense against the Nigerian state...so what changed after those years? What made people like Soyinka who were against dictatorship and coup plotters in 1985 change in 2015??
I may be wrong. But I think it was because of his friend Rotimi Amaechi and his hatred for Jonathan's wife. Emotion can be stronger than knowledge.

Yes i was involved in all those Igbo yoruba rubbish bashing until a yoruba guy here spent time to talk some sense to me. I changed my stance, i also carried the message to an hausa guy here, after battling ourselves for over 24hrs in less than 2 days he was here convincing others to stop tribalism in this forum, many persons were surprised and one or two started digging up his posts the same way u re doing now but he openly said it, that he has changed. U too can join the bandwagon. How do u feel reading denigrating comments about ur tribe? If u feel bad then why do it to someone else? Do u feel good involving in tribal E-wars here? Guess u too would change.
I don't do tribal mudslinging and you need to exorcise your demons of I-must-have-the-last-say.

Battling someone in Nairaland for over 24hrs in a 2 day spell means you're not only unemployed but unemployable.

You live and thrive on online argument as your life has nothing going. Keep your sermons to those who need a Pharisee's gospel. Not for me.

Reference:
This is the social injustice we constantly talk about, that we all know but pretend not to. That certain sections of the country are above the law in their acts and utterances. Today they say the east is formenting the storm that will lead to violence. They on the other hand just do the violence wily-nily and no one is every held accountable..... ever.

For how long can this go on. Today I am more fearful of the incumbent losing elections than the east pressing for secession when it comes to violence because in the former it is almost certain, a given that lives will be lost but in the latter the lives that have been lost so far are only those of the agitators themselves.

Today despite the agitation for secession there is peace everywhere in the east. Nigerians of all tribes go about unmolested because that is not the cause. The truth about the desire for self actualisation has nothing to do with religion or the hatred for other tribes but of justice and equity.

The threat of violence and war has been trumpeted by the 'owners of Nigeria' alone, the same folks who will kill others out of hatred and religious intolerance. Those who will readily mix the toxic potions of politics with ethnicity and religion at the drop of a hat, those the state cannot prosecute. The quest to establish a new threashold for 'hate speech' in my view is just a way to stifle the desires of Nigerians to freely express themselves. They know the igbo man will not just wake up one morning and storm the market place to slaughter non indigenes for whatever reason. It has never happened. They know he has only been talking since 1970. Now even that is to be silenced.

No matter how bad the output is, to deprive the anus of self expression is a certain painful death. Time is running out for this country.

Sapiosexuality:
It's annoying to see Buhari talk about stopping hate speeches. A hate speaker who never for once hid his hatred for anyone or his appreciation for injustice and the then Boko Haram attacks. That he is president is because the intelligence of the human race is overrated.

People like Buhari, in any civilised society, would have been cast out, if not for the treason and the abuse of human lives he committed between 1983-85, for his stupid and blood shedding utterances. I remember in 2015, as PO even the INEC head that came around warned us on how to survive such madness.

Today, that man is the president. No one becomes a Vice Chancellor of our today's Universities without being a Professor. No one heads the economic team except he or she has an understanding of Economics. But we brought a man who has zero knowledge of human relationship, an ethnic bigot, a religious fanatic and intellectually achondroplaesic and made him President. Genius!
You may have 200+ likes and shares but your post lacks any dept. It makes wild accusations without reference to any evidence.

The OP even made the grave error of a typo while quoting. Was the 2011 election rigged the answer from electoral records indicates it was same in 2007.

Live with the reality ! it's 2017 and Buhari is the president and if the circumstances favour given he is in good health he may be returned irrespective of your bitterness in 2019.

lol, are we the same? must we vote for the same person? we are never the same, so we should have voted for your lord and saviour gej? see!!! i still repeat, that gej administration is the most corrupt ever in the history of this country, funds were looted with reckless abandon, when a minister during jonathan's tenure is competing with abacha in terms of fund mismanagement, by the time we find the total amount diezani swallowed, you will know abacha is a learner and by the way that is just one minister what about others? well am not surprised by your position on this issue, you are from a region where a known drug baron is called bishop.....after money is money**2
Sir, I am from the East. I do not support corruption of any type. But let me bring it to your notice that most Yorubas who voted against Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 did so because they felt GEJ did not favour them after the support he got from them in 2011and they have a point. GEJ thought he could get the votes of the north who did not vote for him in 2011 while neglecting the Southwest who did. He was so wrong. Another reason why most Yorubas voted against Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 was the Tinubu factor and the merger of CPC and AC. The issue of alleged corruption against the Jonathan regime was a mere allegation then. It was those opposed to GEJ that believed it must be true and used it against him. Talking about corruption, I make bold to say that there is no government headed by a sinner that will not be corrupt. It is after the current government has gone, especially if the opposition takes over that the level of corruption of the present government will be unveiled. Why is the present government allegedly shielding its own officials accused of corruption while focusing its searchlight on the opposition members? Is injustice not corruption?
What about nepotism that we can see without any probe? Guess it is not corruption too. You have a right to vote in anybody you want but please say the real reasons you did that. If you actually voted against Jonathan because of corruption, then you wouldn't have voted APC in Lagos or supported Asiwaju who is allegedly the biggest landlord because that would be double standard. Thanks.

Lol that is the pitiable irony of the Nigerian populace! Even the supposed educated are not spared..the average Nigerian voters memory span is about 3 minutes, which rivals the memory span of the common goldfish..I kid you not, even shekau can contest and win an electoral post in Nigeria in the not so distant future..all he needs is to plead for forgiveness and get a formidable PR and the people he terrorized will thumbprint for him...it has happened before and it will happen again.
Sir, Abubakar Shekau does not need to plead for forgiveness to become Nigerian president. Once he contests with a Christian, even a law professor from the South for the presidency of Nigeria, he will be voted for by the moslem north and a few from the South. This is incredible but the raw truth!

Before 2015, there was no election in this country. What Maurice Iwu et al were conducting was jus play.

Buharis perceived 'hate speech' was jus an accurate prediction of the events that followed.

The people that rigged and/or benefitted from the 2011 elections didn't die as a result of 2011 post-election violence. It was the innocent pple that died.

This also explains why in the first widely accepted election in Nigeria's history, Nigerians still chose President Buhari to lead them.

It also goes to show what an incompetent leader GEJ was. The fact that no one was prosecuted after those killing and similar killings nationwide.

What a hateful bunch, truly occupying themselves with their favourite activity - spreading more hate and misinformation.

See how they dug up an old incident, rearranged the story to elicit the highest emotional response against their main focus of hate and wrath - PMB for winning the elections.

What were the circumstances surrounding the killings: what caused it, who carried it out and how could an incident carried out in far away Bauchi be linked to Buhari is another thing that most of the reports and those propagating it have always evaded - except to resort to innuendos.

What these hate merchants keep forgetting is that the govt in power at the time would have welcomed any reason to have arrested Buhari, as the then head of the opposition; in fact it did, it set up a committee which thoroughly investigated the matter and completely exonerated Buhari from any complicity or culpability.

Unfortunately, his detractors are aware that their are many gullible ppl; many among them also predisposed to hating the president and are therefore exploiting this opportunity to disparage the president.

Sadly, the mainstream media seem to be aiding and abetting these ppl in propagating such falsehood e.g. the Dog and the Baboon and lately the 97% and 5% statements are good examples of how the president is being deliberately misquoted and misrepresented.

I challenge anyone to prove otherwise
Sir, I don't know about 'dog and baboon matter' because I don't understand Hausa but the issue of 97% versus 5% was spoken in English and I understand that. Hate Speech is not good. In fact it is a sin. But it also a sin to preach against what one practises by words or deeds. It is a sin to shortchange a people, show that you do not like them by your body language in areas of appointments, projects and selective injustice and yet threaten them if they talk against your injustice or talk about being on their own, tagging it 'hate speech'. Of course, no one complains of injustice laughing. So refusal to correct what is making people angry yet accusing them of hate speech for voicing out, is a sin. It is simply hypocrisy. Thanks.

To be truthful I lost respect for a lot of men of God after the 2015elections but God is the Judge of all, so I won't say much. I can only say we are all humans and can err.
Pls that's the very cause of our problem in this country.
Person wan marry - go and see pastor or alfa first, same people that still ask "who is that?" When you knock on their door are supposed to tell you if someone you've never met are suitable for you.

I believe in God like kilode...it's the stupidity of "religious-ness" that pisses me off. When these people supposedly imitating the prophets of old come off saying "the spirit of God says..." and all the followers go into an orgasmic frenzy and start to do certain things meanwhile no spirit said jack!

Nigeria today is a clear example of this being misled by men of God thing. Me I don't know o but I strongly believe wisdom is profitable to direct.
Abi, what the Bible says is do not be unequally yoked...not its OK to be ruled by...

If it's not OK to be with someone how it becomes OK for the same person to rule you will forever remain a mystery to me. Despite the obvious signs

Note that when these men of God give endorsement it's not based on their human capacities...it's supposed to be as directed by the spirit, the issue of human error shouldn't even come in to play. This should be a simple litmus test to even know if that man is truly of God.

A business tycoon in Anambra, Dr. Richard Ndubuaku, has sued the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and its pioneer, Nnamdi Kanu at the Federal High Court in Abuja over their arrangement to blacklist the inevitable gubernatorial race of the state.

He is looking for a directive from the court in the suit with number FHC/ABJ/CS/756/2017 to control Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB from boycotting the Anambra State governorship decision planned to hang on November 18.

As per Ndubuaku if Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB are permitted to continue with the arranged decision blacklist, it could come about into unsalvageable harms to him and other blameless resident who have properties and organizations in Onitsha and other piece of the state.

In an oath he removed to help the suit, the offended party told the court that Kanu and other IPOB individuals have more than once influenced articulations and dangers to stop any type of decision in Anambra To state and Igbo arrive.

“The litigants (first and second) are fit for completing their danger, and if this happens, many lives will be lost. What’s more, properties pulverized, which will incorporate that of the offended party.
