North must learn not to involve ordinary civilians in issues of national politics.

If you kill innocent unarmed person in life, u must pay for it, more especially, if u kill a visitor, a sojourner living in your land, nature hates it, God hates it, if you kill someone who did you no wrong just because someone from his tribe or race or region wronged you, nature will reward you in many ways, nature can reward you by putting enemity and sword between your children so that your children will turn enemies and kill each other as we can see happening with Boko Haram.

As we can also see happening between Tiv, Idoma and Hausa/Fulani. Plateau people vs Hausa/Fulani too....these people were close allies before the civil war, but today, nature has put enemity between them and they now fight each other every now and then.

I watch alot of documentaries and I can say these pictures do not show the real horrors of war.

The Nigerian army dealt ruthlessly with biafra, they shot down any plane carrying food, medicine and supplies.

Millions of biafra starved and died, The Nigerian army made living almost impossible for biafrans


Truly one will not wish to experience war, it is not a sweet story.

We really can't go through another war in this country, because the aftermath will last for many generations...

Many cowards in this thread. This happened because the west supported Nigeria, not because Nigeria was stronger than Biafra. But with new war laws, starving civilians is no longer accepted.... thats is partly why universities still remember Biafra war and conduct lectures about it. Using chemical weapons, starving civilians and using human shields are now war crimes and would not be tolerated. If war should happen again for the christian East to be free from the Muslim north, let it.

Case1: Was it Nigeria that was using human shields? If so do we then blame Biafran soldiers who killed the human shields to get to the Nigerian soldiers?

Case2: Was it Biafra that was using human shields? If so do we then blame the Biafrans who said they had the best army in black Africa, yet resorted to using human shields to defend themselves while they attack?

theres no pic t I. emphazing Nigeria stopping food supply to the biafra Rebel state, it's merely tactic of war to those who ask and accept it.
