When last did you eat Asa Iwa, Asa Ibikpod, Ekpang Iwa, Akara Ukom, Akara Mboro, Iwuuk Ukom ye Ndise, Ikpong Aniimbo ke ntuen okpo or Mkpiifia ye Mkpurikpu ke efere atikke?

Nothing to worry about! These "old-time religion" meals will be available at Ibom FoodFest.

Ibom FoodFest is a food festival aimed at promoting Akwa Ibom's rich culinary culture. The event will be offering a full day filled with food, drinks and entertainment.

With over 200 cuisines on display, food lovers will experience Akwa Ibom's hospitable disposition.

The free admission event will take place at Unity Park, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, on Tuesday, 21st September, 2017 by 10am.

The event looks to appeal to all ages and tastes with a myriad of food vendors from the 31 LGAs of Akwa Ibom state, to choose from.

An exotic cookbook containing the over 200 amazing cuisines from Akwa Ibom will be presented at #IbomFoodFest. The online edition will also be unveiled.

Ibom FoodFest, the 3rd event on the #OrangeSeptember series. Orange September is packaged to celebrate Akwa Ibom at 30 with a mandate to position the state by showcasing the diverse and enigmatic colours of our collective history, unity in diversity, depth and range of our indigenous entrepreneurship.

This event is powered by Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Akwa Ibom State.
