My mum says ALCOHOL, SEX and NIGHT CLUBS
are my ENEMIES.......
God says love your Enemies as yourself........
Please friends, should I obey mum or God
I'm so confused now and need your advice.

Alcohol is man made and has its purposes scientifically but misuse is abuse
Sex is made by God for MARRIAGE only
Night Clubs is also MAN MADE... these are not ENEMIES


READ YOUR BIBLE.... Enemies are not physical, they are spiritual. So lets stop this idle chatter that leads no where. MEN MADE FOOD but food is not anyone's enemy tho those who suffer from OBESITY have to abstain from it.
Man also made sweets.... yet we tell kids not to always take sweets because its not good for them to take it without caution.

MAN made many things that have very important uses but can also be misused.... e.g CODEINE

So who did God call enemies?

Loving your enemies doesn't include you letting them to destroy your life. All those things you mentioned will destroy you, if you don't stop and take heed. Have you seen a way good unto a man but the end thereof is destruction.

Sex, alcohol and night clubs are not your enemies, they can't be. Overindulge in them could become a set back in your preferred life path. However I do understand mum wants your to pursue other goals that she feels are more important to your ambition in life. So the choice is always your to do put a balance on pleasure and work.

But I'm definitely sure God didn't say anything about sex,drugs or whatever you do. God in its real term is neutral and does not pick sides. You are the captain of your ship,wherever it sails its your ship. I personally think mum wants you to take control of your life and not ruin it with pleasure. The choice, free will is always yours. No one is the energy except yourself.
