Oceanic bank had so many accounts, both local and foreign denominated accounts of Nigeria's richest people before Sanusi allowed Oceanic to be swallowed by Eco.

Yes, Oceanic bank deposit base was larger than that of Eco when it was bought over.

Idle funds still account for larger chunk of bank profits..

Oceanic was among the first 4 in 2007..
