Foolishness is when you think because the new commissioner is an Igbo man (in case he is), he would be sympathetic to the cause of the IPOB.

This guy will want to prove a point to his superior which mean IPOB is in more trouble.

If u were smart enough, u would know that it's actually a smart idea to choose igbos, hausas or yorubas to head military n paramilitary top positions in their respective states. If an igbo man or Abia man the GOC of which ever barracks we have in abia state, the current mess there wouldn't have occurred in the first place.

most enlightened\business Igbo men don't want Nigeria to be balkanised, all they
are seeking for is restructuring of Nigeria that allow
1. Equal regional representation

2. Resources control

3. State and regional police.

4. Equal representation in the army, air force, navy.and Police recruitment.

5 The regional police should takeover the responsibilities of national defence corp.

6 each zone shall have equal representation in senate and the lower chamber.

7 abolish federal roads.

8 Region/state should take over schools at all level.

9. Each state/region should be allowed to deve!op at their own pace

10 idigenship should be abolished to enhance unity ( Chief Bola Tunubu is good at this)

Any restructuring that did not include state police and resource controll is a non starter.
I don't see the north having problem with this, since the IGR generated by Kano alone surpasses that of the 5 SE states and they are
occupying 85% of Nigeria land mass. If these are correct which I doubt they should be the one clamouring for restructuring.

Sometimes I wonder, if they are actually occupying 85% of Nigeria land mass why would they be seeking grazing land in the south that

occupy just 15% of the Land mass with population doubling that of the North if I must be honest. Of course excluding Nigers and lybians
