Islam is unlikely to dominate Japan.

A Japanese is a Shintoist when they are at a Shintoist shrine and a Buddhist when they are at a Buddhist temple. And in daily life, a Japanese is usually an atheist.

On the final day of the year, a lot of Japanese go to Buddhist temples. They convert from atheism to Buddhism. And when they leave, they convert back to atheism.

And on the New Year day, they go to Shintoist shrines. They convert from atheism to Shintoism. And when they leave, the convert back to atheism.

In 1980’s some employees working for Japanese trade companies converted to Islam just to get business deals to go smoothly in the Middle East. They remained Muslims while they stayed there and dumped all the Muslim rituals after they came back home.

An average Japanese converts at least four times a year. Or else, we can say that religion does not matter at all for most Japanese.

I am 47. I have converted over 150 times. I have often been surprised how serious Westerners and Muslims are about their religions.

I believe Chinese are much like us.

I could remember a very famous Japanese wrestler Antonio inoki become a Muslim. ....Japan becoming a Muslim county will be impossible. they are very xenophobic .

China may be possible if the Muslim population double their birth ratio for the next hundred years and the majority religion keeps to their current birth rate ... Muslims population can easily grow if China govt relax birth control law.


Korea . I can't really say much . but may be by conquest which I doubt it will be successful. south Korea is an ally of NATO. maybe turkey and Iran may form a synergy with Russia govt . .... but wait Russia herself promote atheism and may not support it.
