A major strategy of Kanu lad IPOB is to provoke the nigerian government and army into attacking them, hoping it would attract international sympathy for their course.
But that is totally a wrong move. Super power like USA and Russia simply encourage war. How else will they sell off their huge stack of arsenals? Furthermore, they will only come to your aid when they have business interests in the territory under attack. Biko, can you show me America and Russia interest in Igbo land? Or you hope Israel will come and fight for you? Israel still has their own at home against Palestine, and besides, they listen to the USA.
Fine, the USA and the UN will make noise about human right abuses and so on. But that is where it ends. Just theory.
