Some say ICES, ICAS, IQAS, but with the current trend, i say WES. Unless your school is on strike and you cannot go through the verification palava, use any other

Thank you @elfmann @DereI @Wura27

I have so much questions to ask, I dont want to make mistake. How do I send the transcript? does WES accept statement of result? do I have to fax statement of result to them?

Sorry for asking too much question, also want to join any whatapp group

Yes it is. If you evaluate with WES, it will be stated as diploma 2yrs and bachelors degree (4yrs)

Is it the one year diploma and three years BSc in Unilag that is evaluated as such.... cos I sent mine to IQAS and it was evaluated as 4 years BSc.. if WES is giving the opposite please let me know so I can port oooo... No time to waste time...

Ofcourse they are correct.

One plus Three equals Four.

If you had an OND (2yrs) plus a B.Sc (3yrs), then it could be an equivalent of two certs.

Good morning house, trust we all had a great weekend.. I am currently expecting ITA this week. Please i have the following questions

1) How can i use the LOE to clearly explain why my middle name is missing in my Degree Certificate as against the names on my international passport

2) For those who have filled the Schedule A form, I am trying to fill mine. I seem to have a little problem with the "Personal history" section. Some of my activities happen at the same time. I mean I did different things at the same time for example, why I was doing my Msc, I was also working.. Another time, I was a consultant to 2 different companies and I need to capture it in my personal history.. Kindly see what I mean below:

2016-6 / 2017-5...Consultant @XL
2015-12 / Present.. Independent consultant @KCP
2015-5 / 2015-11 unemployed
2013-2 / 2015-4.. Studying for Msc
2011-11 / 2014-12..Geologist @ PGEL
2011-10 / 2011-10..Unemployed
2011-7 / 2011-9...Geoscience intern
2011-6 / 2011-6 Unemployed
2010-5 / 2011-5.. Nysc
2005-3 / 2010-4..Studying for Bsc

Kindly notice the bolded..How can I write it. I intend to use the
2011-11 / 2014-12..Geologist @ PGEL to get reference letter and claim maxumum point...
Pls someone should help me fix this issue...

3) Do I need to remove the work experience I am claiming point for from the "Personal history" of the schedule A form?. Please remember CIC said no gap in time while filling the personal history

Seniors kindly help. All contributions are welcomed...thanks

Oanda is showing N293 to $cad1
xe.com is showing N294 to $cad1

I am confused. Someone should please shed light on the official exchange rate used by CIC.

After you've had enough samples, narrow your search down, you can search for "ielts Emma", "ielts Adam", "ielts Rebacca", "ielts Liz", "ielts engvid". With these five search, you'd have enough to prep you up. You can also check www.engvid.com, www.writetotop.com then www.ieltsliz.com and www.ieltsbuddy.com for more tips.

Use either that you are comfortable with. Print the page (oanda or xe) for the conversion as at the date of the transaction, and add it to your pof sheets. Period.

Oh Lord have mercy!!!

Both are used in POF conversion. To be on the safe side, just use 295/C$

hi, I'm just wondering why we need to help CIC with conversion rate? cos I'm guessing they would have their own official rate.
just asking because I would soon be uploading my POF.

If you check their fees on cic.gc.ca, the conversion rate is at about 230/C$ which we all know isnt whats been charged when we are paying these fees with our cards.

Hence the reason for using the current FX rates

Baba calm down na, never reach to use "damn thing". was only trying to find out if there is a better way to search, doesnt mean I dont appreciate the fact that you took out time from your busy schedule to reply.

Anyways I have managed to refine my search query to a more targetted one.
