bidexiii:The Al Tariq is actually Denels Umbani and, Tawazun Dynamics is a joint venture by Denel Dynamics and Tawazun. For all intensive purposes the Al Tariq is 100% a South African product!! |

jpphilips:Then there should be a better way for disposal than pollution. It still gets to same point am making. The S&T unit has the capacity improve the quality. The did it those days so why can't it be done now better technology can be applied. Pollution of land and water ways is still not the best. The oil on the waters affect the Navy too both in mobility and damage to boats and ships. So it should never be an option |

MikeCZA:And the remaining 51% by the other? Or more companies. If so, it's so, the product is not 100% Denel again as stated by the SA agugugbu. umbani is South African but when development name goes at Al-tariq it's now UAE. So far Denel has 49% and the other party has 51% no one cares if the product was developed by a single person in South Africa. The product being Al tariq isn't South African. Having 49% means the UAE company dictates how much salary Denel workers will be making on that project. |

jakeporeshenko:Percentage, 51% for UAE and 49% for Denel. Legally anywhere on earth, Mars, Pluto etc. the boss here now is the UAE company. The power of equity. |

tdayof:What does the fact that they have 51% of the company have to do with the product it self?? the Al- Tariq existed before Tawazun Dynamics was even an after thought!! It was designed by Denel and funded by the SANDF hence its a South African product!! Lastly I find it strange that someone who said the Gripen can't fly inverted is the one calling me agubugu? |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by tdayof(m): 2:37pm On Sep 18, 2017 |
jln115:South Africa owns the project but during a joint venture, it umbani changed to Al tariq with Denel dynamics having 49% stake and the UAE company having 51%. Due to the percentage, the UAE being the largest shareholder of 51% can oppose any decision made my Denel dynamics. In the course of the joint venture, Denel dynamics can never claim it 100% owns Al tariq but can claim to own umbani. Google is your friend. Your economics sucks. Now ask me why people purchased JF17 directly from Pakistan. PAC owns the largest share will two other Chinese companies have to share the remaining percentage. Umbani is a South African product but Al tariq is not South African. If umbani is South African then JF17 is Chinese.

Al Tariq is South African made by Denel and Denel doesn't have it on its list of products. http://www.denel.co.za/album/Denel-Products/20 Al tariq owned by the UAE company Tawazun Holding clearly visible on her website. www.tawazundynamics.ae I don't know how a product of joint venture became a property of a single country.

jln115:Lol these are companies with IPO. The owners are the share holders. With the Netherland company Heineken having the largest numbers of BOD. Denel isn't a company with IPO. |

frumentius:Still doesn't change the fact that the name coined Al. Tariq isn't 100% South African again. We're talking about the fact that someone here claimed a joint venture product is owned by a single country.

tdayof:Irrelevant ret@rd!! The fact that they are not majority owned by Nigeria/Nigerian investors means that these companies are not Nigerian neither are their products...........BY YOUR DEFINITION!! You don't see Indians claiming that Jaguar is now a Indian product simply because TATA is the majority stakeholder! |

jln115:Investment is. Different from a joint venture. Bro, your school fees is wasted that's if you have any educational qualification at all. If you can't differentiate between investment and a joint venture. You also said Al tariq is 100% South African and still asked who said so. You're either suffering from a memory loss which has always been proven by you.

tdayof:So you are assuming I meant ownership?? Let me try to dumb it down to your level, the Al-Tariq was designed by Denel(A South African company) and development was paid for by the SANDF, no foreign country was involved in the design and development of the al-Tariq hence I said its 100% a South African product. I never said SA owns 100% of the product!! With almost all of our large weapons sales there is always some sort of joint venture, design sale, licence sale ect ect the N35 Nimr is a perfect example. Maybe if you weren't so buthurt you would've took the time to comprehend what I actually said!! |

tdayof:Fvck my life !! Im talking ownership bro!! If a company owns 51% of a company through investing in an established company or owns 51% of a joint venture it still owns both those companies!!FYI a joint venture is still an investment you fvcking ret@rd!! |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by tdayof(m): 4:08pm On Sep 18, 2017 |
jln115:Like I said your fees is still a waste. If you invest in my company, you don't change my company's name because you own 50% Your investment is for equity or what soever. Investment for equity or proprietary. While a joint founded venture to achieve same goal. Denel needs money and needs buyer for her products while Tawazun can provide the customers bit doesn't own have the technology. Denel then decides on a joint venture which brought about Tawazun Dynamics with Tawazun owning 51% of the shares. The newly founded company owns the product Al-tariq. Bro, this is really stressful explaining all this but it's a normal thing. Teaching kids always have to be stressful. I'm done with you today. |

When you finally realized he dynamics from Tawazun Dynamics is from the combination of Denel dynamics and Tawazun holdings due to their joint venture.

tdayof:1. Uhm......if you have majority stake you can and it does happen.....like every fvcking day!!! 2.Bro I know the difference between buying stake in an existing company and a joint venture.......that still doesn't change the fact that a joint venture is by definition an investment! 3. Actually its more like Denel had the existing product but lacked the the resources to fulfil the order hence the joint venture, that said the company is still 49% owned by Denel which means the Al-Tariq is still 49% owned by Denel..............And before your brain spazes out again I never once said the al-Tariq is 100% OWNED by denel Lastly you totally misinterpreted what I said in my original post because of buthurt hence you jumped to conclusions. |
