Olaleye Aluko , Abuja The Academic Staff Union of Universities has said it would announce its position on the strike action in a few hours time . The ASUU President, Prof Biodun Ogunyemi, stated this in Abuja at about 8 .30 pm on Monday , after concluding the final meeting with the Federal Government delegation . The delegation was led by the Minister of Labour and Employment , Chris Ngige . The ASUU is presently holding its final briefing to decide on the strike. Sources told our correspondent that there are very strong indications that the union would call off the strike. Details later. |
