The USA market is bigger than the uk market so more money. and the divisions floyds fought had many superstars( de hoya,pacquio,mosley,hatton,cotto,maidanda,canelo,zab judah etc) so there was interests in his fights. the heavyweight was dead in that era, pple were bored of the klitsccho brothers. aside from Wilder there is no other fight in the heavyweight that would generate big money for joshua, too many shitty and boring heavy weights out there, and joshua just dey start self

He has a new deal which he signed spanning over 5 years or so and I quite agree with you about the US having a bigger market for boxing.

Kubrat will most likely beat him. I keep on telling people that AJ's undoing would be his lack of tactical skills. He relies too much on his physique than skills. He was lucky to win against a 40+ Wladimir who even knocked him down during the fight and would have won him on TKO. Kubrat is a master tactician. AJ has to start working on tactics.

There is no higher category in boxing. Boxers are divided into weight classes.

He isn't hyping the fight. He is just being diplomatic with his answer , not trying to underrate his next opponents so that if the result doesn't swing in his way, Media wouldn't remind him of this interview where he would have choosen some other persons as his. biggest challenge

Mayweather has been fighting at top level for 25yrs, managed and trained by his ex-pro boxers Father and uncles.
He promoted his own fights thereby cutting out fight promoters and agents who would have been taking the Lion share of his fights purse.
Joshua only became pro- after 2012 Olympics, that means he's less than 5yrs as a pro.
He 'll need to keep winning big fights to attract huge pay checks for not less than 15yrs before he can make what Mayweather made.
While I'm huge fan of his, I think he needs to improve in his fighting skills alot. He's nowhere near the like Evander Holyfields, Mike Tyson or Heavyweights of the pre-2000s era.
He's has power but he muscles are too stiff, he is not mobile in the ring. When he meets fighters that have rocky chin and he's power is absorbed he might not win easily.

While I agree with you on his lack of tactical skills, I don't Kubrat doing more than Klitkcho did. Kubrat doesn't have tactical prowess of Klitchko he only has loads of years of experience.
AJ's lack of tactical skills is due to fact that he started boxing too late at 18-19. He was already too stiff at that age. All he needs to compensate for that weakness is resilience or endurance.

That deontay Wilder guy mehnnn...dude fights like a possessed gorilla. So unpredictable. Could really cause problems for AJ in my opinion.
