Alhamdu Lillah Robili Alamin. We give limitless glory to Allah SWT for seeing us
through 1438 AH. In Sha Allah, today Thursday 21st September 2017, marks the
beginning of a new month (Muharram) and New Islamic year 1439 AH.
Muharram is the first month of the Islamic calendar, and one of the four months in
which fighting has been prohibited in the Qur'an.
Allah SWT in Surah 9. At-Taubah Verse 36 revealed: "Verily, the number of months with
Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He
created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred (i.e. the 1st, the 7th, the
11th and the 12th months of the Islamic calendar). That is the right religion, so wrong
not yourselves therein...... "
Believers in Islamic Monotheism are enjoined to observe fasting in the first 10 days of
Muharram. But if they cannot, fasting should be observed on the 1st, 9th and 10th of
Muharram.
I wish the entire UMMAH in 1439AH more of Allah's Mercies, Blessings, Favours,
Forgiveness of sins and Refuge from hell-fire. Ameen

HAPPY HIJRAH 1439 TO ALL MUSLIMS ACROSS THE WORLD

The Hijrah calendar began around 622 AD when 20 Muslims, comprising 11 males and 9 females migrated from Makkah to Madina, both cities in present day Saudi Arabia. The Muslims left the former for the latter because of persecution from the enemies of Islam. Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon his soul) explained some important things to Muslims and by extension on what people should know about Hijrah. 

1. Hijrah means repentance 

2. Hijrah means absolute monotheism 

3. Spirit of forgiveness 

4. Spirit of national integration 

5. Better behaviour[b]

As part of our religion moral to support people who are hopeless and living a very miserable life, Siam Foundation therefore urging our Muslim brothers and sisters across the world to please support our various activities towards helping the homeless, hopeless and our society at large with anything that is useful to the human being.
