Just look at it this way, there are two days of rest in a week. Most Christians take one of the free days to go worship their God. Most take Sunday as the day while some take Saturdays.

so u want to deny the fact that hausa students observe 3 weeks holiday during fasting and small sallah occupies more than 3 working days in hausa land, in places like sokoto each of those celebration has up to one week for civil servants.

As a Christian i have no issues with living in a country that does not have Christian holidays - the issue here is that anything that Islam would promote as a Government declared institution or custom that effects all Nigerians must be carefully scrutinized.
