Dear Seun Osewa, I like to firstly appreciate your efforts and ingenuity in putting up a platform like this. It was your dream and it became reality and you are living it. I am happy for you! In the past days, I have come across different threads created on religious prejudice against the Christians which I'm sorry I have not bothered neither to ascertain nor reason out as I am comfortable with the opportunities nairaland has presented to me at no costs. Sincerely, nairaland seems on point on all fronts...My honest opinion. However, I crave your indulgence to call your attention and appeal to you (as per the subject matter) that we look into the issues some forum members seem to complain about and address them...Not necessarily to effect changes but at least give them fair hearing and justify your position on the issues if your stance would not change on the subject matter...Honestly, your silence isn't good enough! Nairaland is a family. If one member is pained, the leader should rise to ease the pain as the Father figure...Seun, you shouldn't be silent no more! In conclusion, dear Seun recall you have rights to your opinions, business practice. Seun:your mods have been overwhelmed. it is a ratio of 1000 tribalists:1 mod. I.e Tribal posts for your mods to handle. tribalism has eaten NL. Unlike the Muslims, it is difficult for Christians to rub minds of biblical issues without the atheists disrupting things. Too much unverified news. The issue on tribalism can only be solve psychologically, its not only affecting Nairaland but other social platforms. Seun:Dear Seun, First Ild thank you for finding out time out of your busy schedule to respond. My address to you wasn't on threads prejudiced against Christians but threads in which Christians complained about such prejudice. I see this frequently and with open-mindedness and zero bias, you should have seen this many times as some of the times, the complainants even mention you in the posts. I hope you may now understand my thoughts...You may conduct your investigation by going through your mentions or by keeping your eyes on them going forward so you track all such complaints and react to them so that everyone knows you have no bias against any group or sect. You may rather open a channel to entertain such complaints as I strongly believe that nairaland is a platform for everyone and everyone deserves to be heard regardless of race, religion, tribe, beliefs and ideologies. We need you to introduce a creed for Christian threads too, so that whomever that wants to comment on threads that are specifically for Christians would confess that He is a true Christian, and that Jesus Christ is the one and only true son of God, and also that Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world, and the personal Lord and Saviour of the person who was about to comment on such Christian threads.. Please.. I don't really like how Non-Christians derail purely Christian threads with lots of bad comments |
