Multiply this by the 40 years of flaring, it means over 60 Trillion Naira equitable to 60 Billion Dollars was flared...Did you no that no tribe fought or thought about the economic impact of the wastage? WHY? Because we didn't see it as a resource, we need to start seeing beyond where we are and should strive towards development, progressive and growth... I'm relocating soon to the ND, i'm tired of the shallow-mindedness.

As for me, i'm counting down to the end of crude oil, may Heaven dryup either the oil or the market buying the oil.

I was speaking at a conference at how new oil sellers Iran is spoiling the market, by selling below the conventional price for crude and because of the proximity of Iran to the guys that buy up our oil, it means bad market, for example, the time it takes to load a ship and send to India, Iran has gone twice for the same amount of crude, sells cheap and has banked the cash....

It's good that you don't. Not many Nigerians can say the same. Ethnic identity is far more important in Nigeria than State or National identity. And there is a very good reason for that: Nigeria is structured to encourage ethnocentrism. Until we break free from that structure, nothing will change. There has to be a serious restructuring of Nigeria so that we can all see a nation that we'd be proud to identify with, over and above our petty ethnic interests.

The north is preparing by looking for crude oil, from the Sokoto basin, to the Lake Chad Basin, over 100 Billion Naira has been spent under this administration. I think the nation is preparing for a referendum followed by re-configuration or re-identification than to become unified...My own take as a social observer though

There are only two ways Nigeria will escape this current quagmire:

1. Restructuring the entire nation in lines with the 2014 confab report, as well as the implementation of true federalism (with clearly defined state-ethnic borders) and resource control.

2. Divide Nigeria into 4-6 units, with at best, a loose confederation and at worst.

Look at SE, Enugu has coal and can generate up to 5MW to power at least 3 Ndigbo states, now you implement a rule that no company, or individual or region should generate power which is needed for industrial growth. You regulate it to put people in a brace. Does this make sense?

To me it's more about the underutilized resources than they ones been eaten. God knows, i hope to speak to the soul of this country
