(1) British Colonial Master Divide and Rule tactics...
(2) Religion - Islam and Christianity role in dividing Nigerians...
(3) Corruption and bad leadership from the Political elites...

Others: Restructuring, devolution of power, rule of law, public policy , resource control and revenue distribution formula, Rotational presidency, grass root policing, INEC involvement in local Govt elections, Less attractive central and Federal Govt, Incremental devolution of power etc..
