SE is just a contraption, what you might want to refer to, is the larger Igbo people - which stretch to delta, edo, river and even benue states etc. we can all work together without being confined to one region.

if anioma state should be created it will remain in SS.. it should not be across the Niger and termed SE... if core easterners need any state it would be constituted from our 5 states Ie Etiti state...we also have adada, Aba, Njaba states as prepositions..

u guys can keep anioma... we no need them now.

I agree totally. Without prejudice to the good people of Delta North, those of us in Delta South and Central share more in common and should ideally be the ones to constitute a state, with a capital within the region.

Anioma State should be created and zoned to the SE for equity to reign.

I also agree that the oil companies should move their headquarters to the region. It is simply logical to locate the headquarters of an oil company in an oil producing region.

This is why igbos are politically dispensable in Nigeria. Majority of them are so ignorant of their evolution it's a wonder they are counted as one of the 3 largest tribes in Nigeria.

While the Yorubas accept and acknowledge his Yoruba brother form Kogi and Kwara, the dumb Igbo man doesn't know even some dialect spoken in delta are more Igbo centrally than some in Enugu and IMO.

Pls don't forget that, it is the influence of the urhobo that makes the immediate past governor and present governors won their election.

I think all this started with the war and the stigma of bearing an Igbo or even Igboid tag. Thus most Igbo/Igboid people from the 'newly' created Bendel State and Rivers State tended to reject the Igbo tag for survival sake. Unfortunately it has festered for longer than it should.

Anioma, even in name is Igbo meaning Good land. Her inhabitants bear names of Igbo origins so that effectively tells you their roots.
