The federal high court can not require a senator of the federal republic of Nigeria as surety and then turn around to hope that no senator comes forward!

The senate should be asking why the court required a senator in the first place!

In as much as I'm against the modus operandi used by Nnamdi Kanu for his agitation, I believe that in a democratic settings people are free to protest or make demand within the ambit of the laws of the land.

To tell ourselves the truth, this whole agitation for secession wouldn't have been there in the first place if these thieves in the Senate and the Executive do the right thing... social,economic and political justice, rather they systematically set the stage for all kinds of agitations from the Niger Delta up to the people of the South East.

Nobody who visits Abuja and then visit the south South and south east regions will ever think of One Nigeria,because it is very glaring that even the Duck that lays the golden eggs is left to die in hunger while her eggs are used to make riches.
So also with the East which has been neglected since after the civil war to develop on its own with little or no Federal government presence. No
roads,industries,Federal institutions to help rebuild the area from the effect of war.

Unless drastic measures is taken to restructuring this country to correct all these imbalances,many more Kanus will emerge and by then it will be too late to negotiate.

If truly these senators have the unity of this country at heart as they claim then they should allow for a total restructuring rather than seeking and protecting their selfish interests.

Agreed on the senators' role but on the parable of starving the goose with the golden eggs to die while its eggs are meant for use elsewhere does not make sense. Think about it, how do you kill the mother and at the same time expect it to bear child so you can use it for errands, is it magic? Going by the derivation formula, all oil-producing states earn more than their non-oil producing counterparts so if Abuja looks better than the any southern part of the country as you opined, then hold your governors responsible. The sooner we all realise this the earlier and better we'd learn where to channel our agitations to.

Nnamdi Kanu very senseless and tactless. That dumbo had a very good opportunity to be heard by the world. To force Nigerians to talk about our system of governance. I don't know how he became so interested in theatrics, posing for cameras and spreading hate and bile. He was getting recognition even beyond Nigeria. Why didn't he consolidate on this to become a force to reckon with? Power of the streets intoxicated him. I wonder. It just goes to show he was empty up there. The govt has never been interested in the court process, it's a charade. The bail saga was actually a bait which Abaribe gulped, it's a tactic used to smoke out IPOB sympathisers in the revered senate. It also made it easy for the govt to blow the cover of those who have been hiding behind the scenes. The moment Abaribe took the bait, other sympathisers showed up & this will in turn enable the govt investigate these individuals & their activities whether they have ever funded IPOB.
