Hello sir/ma,
In as much as we detest marketing job in this country which I also do; due to it's poor working conditions and unrealistic targets. It seems it's the most readily available job in Nigeria now. Despite my hesitations on being a marketer, it looks likely that I will have to bend my rule. That brings me to the main purpose of this post.

Between bank DSA and Insurance marketing, which of the above is preferable and give reason for your preferred choice Pls...

Lol. I was an insurance marketer for 1 day cheesy
I was also on my way to becoming a DSA in a bank before it was overtaken by other events.

What have I not seen in this Nigerian job market

Which should you go for?
That is to say, you MUST go for one.
Then, go for the brand you can sell. Anyone who tells you the exact one to go for on this thread, make sure you send the person a PM straight! That person should take you by the hand and show you the people who will buy the products you'll be selling, otherwise don't pay attention.

If you by yourself cannot sell either brands, you'll not enjoy the outcome. First thing, start telling your friends and family that they should come and buy an insurance policy from you, if they say they will, then take the job. Or,

Tell them to come and open a savings account with zero balance with you, if they say No, then don't go near. Simply because, at the end of the day, your customers will be the people you know or will be referred to.

Best wishes.

Thanks for this write-up. Exactly what I was thinking. I just don't think convincing people in this current economy to open an account or get a policy is possible...

Impossible is nothing sha. Once you are passionate about a product, selling it will be easy but if you aren't, even the most popular and sellable product will lie on your shelf gathering dust.

The decision is yours to make.
