Jordan's Air Force Commander is in Nigeria on a working visit set to depart tomorrow. He has been here for a while.
Thank you for the pictures.
I wonder why the ARMY has not released pictures from their event.

All Drones are initially configured not to be armed, behold " Beauty is in the eye of the Beholden"
They will not be launched from planes. The Drones will do their job.
What are you saying? It's not about configuration but design. The Yahbon 20 are not capable of being armed.

You should also consider payloads. UCAV launched missiles ain't this big.

Why do you assume certain things unless you are the designer and you know all the stress points and the maximum payload and it's electrical configuration . Please don't say that

Only the Air Force that releases pictures. The rest are stingy with it

Haven't seen a UCAV carry such big missile. Maybe it doesn't weigh much. You remember that picture of a crashed ch3. That's also an atgm so am just curious.

I believe thats an AR-1 air to surface missile, it truly isn't that big but you probably cant tell because its hard to judge size in some photos

It means that the NAF C-130 H(NAF 913, 917, 918 AND 923 ) might get spare parts from Jordan and also the PUMAs.
It also implies Pilots for our Charlies might be sent to JORDAN instead of the U.S.
Mhhh i do not think we need them for spares, maybe reactivation of grounded C-130's
remember in April of 2016 CAS visited Lockheed and other US based OEMs.

"The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, during a recent official visit to the US met with the management of Lockheed Martin Corporation and Textron Aviation, the manufacturers of C-130H and Beechcraft King Air 350i aircraft respectively to establish rapport with the concerned US authorities with a view to strengthening identified areas of mutual cooperation that would enhance NAF’s overall operational readiness and efforts in the on-going counter-insurgency operations.
Air Marshal Abubakar’s visit to the US is in the light of the delays that are currently being experienced in spares procurement, and also at eliminating middlemen in the procurement chain.
Furthermore, the visit to the companies will henceforth fast-track the procurement process and cut cost.
The Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) visited promised to support the NAF and ensure prompt delivery of spares to Nigeria.
The CAS team was conducted round the facilities visited."

Ayodele famuyiwa seems to be the only one to have ever talked about the jf17.

NAF EXPANDS YOLA APRON, CONDUCTS EYE SURGERY ON SECOND BATCH OF INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), as part of preparations towards inducting new platforms, is expanding the apron at the military wing of Yola International Airport to enhance air operations against insurgency in the Northeast. The NAF, at present, is at the verge of inducting the Mi-35M helicopter gunship and JF-17 Thunder Fighter Ground Attack aircraft in addition to acquiring the Super Mushshack trainer aircraft. There are also strong indications that the US Government may give the nod sooner than expected with regards to the sale of Super Tucano to the NAF to replace the aging Alpha Jets. The proposed fleet expansion, according to the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar necessitated the expansion of existing facilities including the apron, pilot crew room, office/residential accommodation and recreation facilities newly put-in place to enhance the welfare of the personnel and reposition the NAF for effective and efficient air operations. Commissioning the new projects, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, His Excellency, Senator Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow lauded the NAF for the commitment towards enhancing the welfare of its personnel. Senator Bindow noted that the projects are testaments to the high premium the NAF places on the welfare of its personnel and prudent management of resources by the incumbent leadership. Governor Bindow also applauded the NAF for its contributions to the counterinsurgency operations with a promise to continue to work with the Service to achieve more successes.

In a similar development, the CAS, Air Marshal Abubakar also used the opportunity of his operational visit to Maiduguri to commission a new block of transit accommodation constructed for officers. Meanwhile, in furtherance of NAF humanitarian support for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the Northeast, another batch of 70 persons have benefitted from the free eye surgery undertaking by the NAF. The latest beneficiaries followed the first batch of 50 IDPs operated upon by NAF medics in Maiduguri. So far, the NAF has provided free medical care for over 30,000 victims of the Boko Haram insurgency in the Northeast.

Yahbon drone are armed.

The Yabhon family of unmanned air systems also includes Yabhon-R MALE, -R2 MALE, -RX, -H, -Smart Eye1, -United 40 (Smart Eye 2) MALE, and -United 40 block 5 MALE.

The unmanned aerial vehicle has a length of 7m, height of 2m and a wing span of 21m. The empty weight is 450kg and the maximum take-off weight is 1,000kg. The fuel storage capacity is 900lt and the payload carrying capacity is up to 550kg.

An advanced ADCOM-3D flight control unit (FCU) is incorporated to facilitate autonomous operation by providing independent inertial measurement unit (IMU) and global positioning system (GPS) navigation services for the UAV. The FCU is capable of controlling up to 16 different payload systems. The UAV is capable of generating mission plan prior to flight. It also supports online mission profile update and recording.

The UAV can be optionally equipped with a variety of payload sensors and signals intelligence systems to meet the varying mission requirements.

Rare photo of an original Panhard AML-60 in South African service.

Only about a hundred of these were imported from France, and they were quickly phased out in favour of an indigenous model that later became the Eland.

Note that a few modifications have already started to appear, namely the Dunlop tyres which were later fitted as standard to Elands.

Look at the specification below and compare to the writeup I made earlier, you will discover that I was not referring to Yahbon 40 and any of them can be armed on request.

News flash! The urgency of a new chapter in the winding down Syrian war has developed into a new phase with a potential for direct US-Russia confrontation.

A Russian general has been KIA in Syria. Its strongly suspected US specops did the deed which makes sense considering last week they actually attempted to kidnap some Russkies.

I posted it n ToT and mention it here due to the extreme seriousness of the situation.

Anyone seen this?

On the 19th US specops actually tried to capture their Russian counterparts in Syria!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9MfeqUrsWE

Imo,the vid has the ring of truth.

That was only the beginning!

By now many of you must have heard the news: a Russian Lieutenant-General, Valery Asapov, and two Colonels have been killed in what appears to be a very precisely targeted mortar attack. Just as in the case of the Russian military police unit recently attacked near Deir ez-Zor, the Russians are accusing the Americans of being behind this attack. To make things even worse, the Russians are now also officially accusing the Americans of actively collaborating with ISIS:

http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/?p=158403

Imo,the Zio Elite are fighting back against the America First faction, the Patriotic deep state faction within the Pentagon, tri services,CIA,FBI,State dept who created the Drumpf. The AFF primary objectives-was and is no more (losing) wars for Israel.
If Super Flankers and Super Hornets tangle over Syrian skies-remember,this was the cause.
Carry on!
