Factory Reset Can't Remove Data From My Phone by rxxus200(op): 3:31am On Sep 28, 2017*

My mom gave me a branded new Samsung Galaxy S7 last week. So I am intended to sell my old one (S5). However, the data on the phone is still accessible after reset. What is going on here? I though it was quite safe to sell the phone after factory reset.

Is it original? Some failed EMMC on devices causes "No effect" even after flashing or factory reset.

yeah.... Just delete your files and sell.. Trying to flash with a computer might result to a total brick

pls bro, is there any remedy to the EMMC issue? My samsung galaxy tab2 has been rebooting for quite some days i have done a hard rest and also tried to reload d OS with odin but it keep failing halfway. Please what is d way out?

Sometimes, heating the EMMC helps.

Before you selling your old Android phone, factory reset and deleting is not far enough to completely erase data from Android phone.
