Lol..They don't allow dere girls to mature well before marriage..For example a girl of maybe 12,13 years gets married when the girl gives birth she gives birth to an unhealthy baby, when the baby grows up clock maybe 11 yrs, wedding bell go dey ring for her side..one alhaji will show from nowhere ad won't allow her mature well, before yu know what's happening she gets married ad reproduce another unhealthy baby..The unhealthy babies go jst dey marry demselves anyhow, dey repeat the cycle.
So It has sumtin to do with early marriage.
You are entitled to your own opinion. But can you tell me consequences of early pre-marital sex engaged mostly by your sisters?

Beautiful pictures!
Visited Kano old city years ago. The dyeing pits, museum et al. It's good to travel to learn more about our history and various cultures.

Most parts of the North have unique housing structures which are well suited for the environment.

How can you be Afonja or whatever you called yourself? Afonja died a warrior's death in 1824. I believe your ancestors were still dwelling in caves by then, covering their blokos with leaves while your women move about nakedd with those disgraceful sagging breastss.

Which entrance is this in fombina palace? because i can't recall this one.

And you forgot to add the oldest emirate in northern Nigeria,

BORNU Empire,

Elkenemi's den.
wrong. Bornu was never part of Sokoto Caliphate; it was an independent, distinct empire on its own. the emirates were to Sokoto Caliphate what states are to Nigeria - they were regional administrative mechanisms created for ease of administration and Bornu was not part of the Caliphate. Bornu had its own subsidiary structures.

What are you talking abouthuh did i say it was Part of sokoto caliphate?

" pictures of Emir palace in the North". Or do you want to sideline Borno from northern Nigeria?

Borno it was an empire on its own, it was formerly known as Bornu empire which include Sudan, Niger, chad and some part of Cameroon, before it was further divided into various empires.

Even Bayyajidda the founding Father of Hausa's, met Borno empire as it was, that was during Elkenemi's Era.

Elkenemi gave out his daughter to bayyajida, all these happened before Danfodio came the existence, and i don't have to remind you that Danfodio is the founding Father of Most of the Northern state Emirate, excluding Borno and Yobe.

to start with, you called Bornu a 'emirate' and my comment is to correct that assertion. Bornu was distinct of the Sokoto Caliphate, so, it cant be an 'emirate' of Sokoto.

that is that. Bayajidda was not a contemporary of El-Kanemi. the cleric, El-Kanemi lived in early 19th century while Bayajjida lived in time immemorial. Dan Fodio and his descendants unified the various states in the northwestern part of modern Nigeria. The states had been founded and existed several centuries before Dan Fodio's religious revolution in 1906. Dan Fodio cannot be the founding father of Hausa states like Kano, Zazzau, Gwandu, Gobir, Rano, Daura etc that had been existing several centuries because he (Dan Fodio) lived in the twilight of 18th century and dawn of 19th century.

Bayyajidda was the founding founder of those states you mention, which are predominantly Hausa speaking states/ region. until Danfodio came and recolonized them. That's why you will see Sokoto, katsina, Gwandu, Fombina,Gombe, and many northern states are ruled by Danfodio lineage, or his disciples lineage, till date.

Shehu palace of Borno state originate from Kanem-Bornu-Empire.
