Jagermeister:
In saner climes, this 'egbon' lad is potentially a lead.

He is regarded as a witness and is even put in witness protection.

But look. Here he's even arrested. What's more? He's perhaps tortured too.

Now, if by any means he's let out, he might wind up deceased because his identify has been let out to the masters of those he's exposed.

Where's the rationale then?

The hunter has become the hunted.

Nigeria, my country.
Stay tuned for more drama in this epic movie called NIGERIA

Pass this information to Opetodolapo Badmus, Aleygiwa or Ruggedman for action. They will surely treat it fairly.

That egbon guy is supposed to be arrested for interrogation. He can't be let go just like that, he knew too much, so information must be extracted from him. And logically, he is a suspect, only that Nigerian police are so unprofessional and dumb. That guy is a real asset but NPF stupidity will only make them extort money from the guy instead of extract information.

Egbon after your release , please relocate for the main time because police will still come back and kill you or tagged you with one allegation to prove that you are among the kidnappers.
Re: Police Arrests Man Who Helped Rescue 7 Kidnapped Victims Inside Creek by Jaftee(m): 7:08pm On Sep 28, 2017
someone was suggesting we wait and see if he was innocent. are you for real?
I expected the police to debrief him immediately after the raid and possibly place him under witness protection if need be.
but rather what did they do? the blew his cover and place him and his family in danger..... we know kidnapping and money rituals are politicians investment, but we don't expect them to bribe police into doing rubbish.

Nigerian POLICE. The most useless set of people.

You report a crime they arrest you. You help I'm spving a crime they arrest you. You even sleep peacefully in your house they arrest you.

SARS, Criminal group within police force. Its his too bad.

To serve and protect don turn to oppress and molest. Unprofessional and so many educated illiterates.

BIAFRANS: THE KURDISH REFERENDUM AND WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.
.
Ordinarily, I had retired to un-analytical write-ups that send direct and obvious message to Buhari's handlers and his jihadists Nigeria Army. But the Kurdish referendum which no Nigerian Media is talking about due to the "bad market" the outcome of the event meant to them.
Because Biafrans deserved to know what actually played out in the just concluded Iraq Kurdish referendum, I decided to pen down this work. First and foremost, Kurdish people are people of inhuman treatment from where they are found in Middle Eastern States of Turkey, Syria, Iran and Iraq. Mostly in Iraq, they were dehumanised during the Saddam Husein era that they were victims of state sponsored terrorism as Biafrans are experiencing today in Nigeria. Iraq under Saddam Husein used chemical and biological weapons on the kurds. it was gory!
During the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, US and Israel found the Iraq Kurds as a better alliance to oust and destroy Saddam Husein who was an anti semantic. They Kurds used the opportunity to avenge their brethren bloods in the hands of "Sadman" and established a sophisticated regional army (pershmerg) that did well in the war against ISIL.
Having build up a strong military and region, they decided to seek an exit from the rest of Iraq. I want to say here that the Kurds have the highest oil resources Iraq survives with. When they initiated for the referendum, Turkey, Iran, Iraq and comatose Syria threatened hell on them if they dare conduct the referendum. Guess what! Israel told them to go ahead and conduct the referendum as she is there for them.
Today, it is done without any barking from the roaring lions. Those countries who threatened hell went to their shelve when it was obvious to them what Israel will do to them. Even the security council reservation over the referendum was swept under the carpet by Israel and Kurds. In life, what you need is a powerful friend and ally, believe you me, the sky is your stepping stone. Iran and Turkey could step down from their threat due to Israel's involvement, then what happens to Nigeria if Israel gets involve? She will just disappear!
I want to tell you in case you don't know, Israel is a trusted friend to Biafra. Shalom!
Very uneducated piece, no grasp of political economy interplay. Why do you think America invaded Iraq in first place, to gain the oil. Not in the mood for lecture. I however have no issues with Biafra opting out, no be by force. Children come to nairaland, dont 'mis educate' them

The Nigerian police force needs total overhauling. What nonsense. I have seen a friend that lost his bike, went to the police station to report it and the next thing was his detention. How on God's green earth would u arrest someone that came to report about his missing property? I so hate this people called police. They are so unprofessional for my liking!

That is why I don't pity them when I see them shot and dumped by the roadside like they are lesser beings. Nonsense.

Egbon is a suspect until proven innocent. He might have had a beef with the group and decided to expose 'em.
His information and involvement led to the rescue of seven victims!
Did you read the part that says he has deep knowledge of the creek?
Are you now saying that all informants are suspects? It doesn't work like that in a saner society sir.
That's the end of his help as long as other people will be falling victims of kidnapping.
This made me remember the case of the lady that took a lost kid to the station. Only for her to be arrested by the police, saying that she reported at the wrong station.
Are you sure you yourself are not part of what is wrong with our country? Always thinking upside down.

As much as It is inappropriate for the police to put a genuine informant behind bar
In Nigeria there are many twists to crimes and investigation. Such as
1. Possible culpability of police
2. Possible involvement by so called informant, especially as informants in Nigeria are often time self acclaimed repentant criminals
There are endless possible twists in investigation but the informant need not worry if his hands are clean.

Bros small small.
Before l say anytin further lemme quickly state that l support the realisation of any dream a group of people feel is the best for the progress of their race, people or culture.
However, you piece has so many flaws and misleading information.
Firstly, there has not been any statement from the Isreali since the Kurdish referendum, if anything, it should even be noted that the US goverment, Turkey, Russia and other major European countries have thrown their weight against a referedum and Kurdish secession at this time. They were daringly admonished to postpone it to a latter day to allow for more negotiations, allow for more regional stablization. However, they defiantly went ahead.
There are currently talks of sanctions to prevail on them to cancel the results of the referendun from major players in the region.
Your argument as regards Isreal being a treat to Nigeria should Biafra go ahead with there secession plans is just unfounded. Have you heard of Diplomacy and its various politico-econmic interplay? You think Biafra would cry foul today and Isreal would start nuking Abuja the next day. (I no fit laff ooo)
I seriously do hope that this write-up does not reflect the mind of most intellectuals in "Biafra Republic", because if so, l fear you might not have the Diplomatic wherewithal and wit to achieve the Biafrans dreams.

P.S. I wish for nothing more than to see a Nigeria where we would all want what we wish for.
