The road is a federal road. The FG gave LASG permission to renovation the road just a few months ago.

Abeg no disrespect my guy, Fashola like that. Man is a legend.

All is now set as work officially begins at the new 10-lane Lagos airport Road. If you have any business within that road, its better you find an alternative road, though law enforcements will be on ground to enforce traffic rules and ensure the road moves. These are some of the pictures

Oga, u are very funny. so fashola should have gone ahead to do a road the FG had prevented lagos from constructing since tibubu's time. Now the approval has been given , good luck to all of us. But slow down with all tge noise the whole ten lane sef he no reach orile to mile 2 ten lane. So Ambode dey follow the footsteps of his predesesor, period.

Correction: The road is actually being reconstructed by the LASG because Osinbajo, while was Acting President, approved the governor's request for the state to handle the road.

Sir, the billion Naira road will be exclusively financed by the Lagos State Government. The FG, could at best, refund LASG a portion of the contract sum for the road. Of course, state governments do not need clearance from the federal government to construct state and/or local roads. On the other hand, a state could ask the federal government to help with maintenance or construction of state roads, with a part of the state's monthly allocation deducted at source to compensate the FG.

...mä friend...there is no such word as compensation on contract papers. rather is reimburse...federal road is federal road.. and state undertaking to do it is on the permission of of the FG..the f.G funds it's even if state pays now...nd collect the mony 2moro..part payment for road construction by FG are mostly on roads Wich are tolled..believe me when I tell you..its a federal funded project...dnt let the choice of construction company confuse u...tinubu has his ways with both the LASG and the FG

You're right. Their road construction jobs are below par in terms of durability. A typical example is a the Ozumba Mbadiwe Rd by 1004, that spot has been fixed by HiTech countless times, yet it goes back to status quo
