I paid the whole fees last year and till date, my business registration has remained on the pending list. Sent series of mails with payments proof, but got no replies thus far. Even wrote to get refund according to their refund policy, still no response bro..

Its supposed to be a good news when they said "its now cheaper and simplified"

But the Nigerian factor seems to have prevailed.

Let's not forget that hitherto, it was lawyers and other accredited professionals that get this thing done. Lawyers especially, and it was accredited and informed Lawyers, not just any lawyer.

To byepass that known procedure for a new and vague approach will most likely lead to litigations which will result in damages for various injuries issued by courts of competent jurisdiction against the C.A.C. in assuaging the times and money expended by applicants/victims who had pursued this vague process in failure.

The lawyers will still be in the middle of the litigation and will reap their shares therefrom

This is one way the Federal govt is making life hard for Nigerians. Agency like CAC is handled by the city govt not even local govt. How is Nigeria going to grow when people can't walk to their city hall for business licences? Nigeria must have been cursed. The north just want to stifle economic growth of the country and these are issues that need to be raised with the UN instead of noise. The same with the registration of Ngo is to make sure that the international community and organizations like amnesty international do not have an easy access to information in Nigeria when Nigerians are being killed. Having organizations like Samaritan Purse go through registration that may be held down in Abuja for months or denied would make millions of Nigerians die before help arrives. Bills like these are very dangerous. Though I don't like Ipob style but there should be a counter protest in favor of the America support of Ipob. It's just so unfortunate that ibos alienated people who should be their natural ally with so much hate, which makes me wonder if Ibos are working for Hausa to complicate things. Otherwise regionalism is something UN, US and others will support and backed, and there's nothing the north can do about it.

The total money to register a limited liability company of 1,000,000 per share capital is about N28,000 now which is very cheap compare to what we had in the past. Although a lawyer will still be needed to help you draft the Memorandum of Articles. His or her can be negotiated. The above fees quoted is the official price.

To be honest ,I have tried this people and I can beat my chest that the process was so transparent, I registered my Enterprise with just N10,500 in the comfort of my home. I was at work few days later and I got a call from C.A.C that my certificate is ready and that I should come with my print out and ID. I got to their office and I they collected my Print out and in no time I was issued my Certificate.

This is a good one.

Dear Entrepreneur, take advantage of this and register your startup/small business with the CAC. Having a legal form gives clients/customers more confidence in your business.

Hence, continued patronage and growth.

Thank me later smiley

You don't need a lawyer AT ALL, the Memorandum and Articles of Association (M&A) is generated automatically online through the registration portal of CAC, and you can thereafter print it out.

Thank you a lot. I have just wasted my time for a few days preparing Memorandum and Articles of Association. What a waste. Anyway, thank you for letting us know.

By the way, can you or someone else guide me on how to file the annual return for my previously registered company? It appears there's no online portal for that. Please help on this.
God bless you
