He made a mistake and that Battery life inclusion dented the whole piece. He should have said as is because this not a brand new laptop and therefore no way the laptop will still have 12 hours battery charge.

If a white guy was selling this, he would tell you that the battery does not hold up to 12 hours due of the previous usage. You buy a new battery for it to replace it.

1. Whoever is buying knows is a used laptop and would not expect 12hrs but a good battery backup compare to regular laptops that manufacturers state 4hrs on product documentation

And whoever is also buying knows that bettery life depends on what you do with your computer. It might sometimes exceed that battery hours.

No manufacturer guarantees 100% of anything

Imagine what happened to Samsung Galaxy Note 7, is it part of their documentation or plans? (please read about it if you have not)

We should be very careful when talking about people business because the same CUP we used to measure for other people that's the same CUP they will use to measure for you.

The OP is getting things wrong here. He seems not to understand that we're trying to help him in that aspect.
Of a truth, his laptops are beasts, I must say. But what I'm tryna say is that he should probably test run the product to know the exact battery life on average usage.
Everybody knows that the battery life depends on usage.

How do I get a double cell?

The dell xps 15 and Samsung notebook 9 last that long. So I know what I'm saying.

The OP is ACTUALLY telling the Truth. This is the Exact Acer Laptop and Model (Acer Aspire E5-575G-53VG) I ordered from Amazon US store to my Lagos Address and have been using it since May 2017.

And YES, The Laptop even stays more than 12hrs on light usage. Sometimes, Fully charged can give me even more than 15hrs on light usage.

On a Very Heavy usage, it takes me about 10hrs or more. It battery is Inbuilt, and the Technology on the battery is Top Notch from Acer.

Since May 2017 I have been using it, the battery life is still operating at 100% without any sign of wearing.

So its a Perfect buy with the 8GB RAM, and I was given the 7th Generation Intel Core i5-7200U instead of the 6th Generation Intel Core i5-6200U which i ordered for.

I'd be buying this laptop from him too 'cause the poster above me have cleared the air on the longevity of the battery and I've also confirmed that Acer aspire E series seem to have great battery life.

I need battery like mad 'cause of light issue on campus, so I wouldn't want anything that'll deter me from reading and programming.
