If every government had worked and the next government built on the previous one, we'd have moved forward by now and this government wouldn't have to be doing as many lines as at least 3 to 4 would have been finished in 16 years.

I hope the Lagos Ibadan line will go through redemption camp. That would be a monthly money spinner. In fact if LASg can do a intra city line from the airport to the Lagos terminus, then people flying in could also get to camp in one seamless move.

Waste of time. People were rendered homeless along the rail lines in mushin etc. Uphill now, nothing is done. The Chinese keeps acquiring lands and properties in the compound,. I keep my fingers crossed. Election round the corner

Nice post COMPAQ. I don't understand Naija mind set anymore, rather than complain about projects that have not been ear marked, many posters are ranting on laudable infrastructural projects the government is trying to embark on.

Take a look at China ghost cities, the government of China is laying a foundation for future generations and the best time to do that is when their is an economic means to do so.

Wouldn't it give u joy to ride on a train from one state to another, it doesn't matter the states been connected now, one day the journey of life may throw you to that direction. Just look at how many Facebook horrific videos and pix you see of car accidents and burnt victims on our highway. I don't know of other people, as for me I want to be able to travel safely by train from Lagos to Abuja without worrying about bursted tires due to pot holes or bad serviced vehicles going aflame.

I expected intelligent discussions on these projects from forum members, questions like what's total km of all the 10 rails, cost, contractors, start and end date and other vital information.
