Ramsey had been a Sanchez if he had a little more confidence.
Excellent movement but poor touches.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Pataki: 12:51pm On Oct 01, 2017
Quite a number of poor touches here and there.

Iwobi is too good to now start playing like Oxlade.

Sanchez passing and sometimes his lack of awareness of spotting the nearest free available Arsenal player is frustrating.

Ramsey sometimes can be overly confident at times.

Well worked goal. Iwobi doubles the lead.

Honestly, joke aside, it has to be frustrating playing alongside Ramsey.

Both teams look uninterested.. Elneny is coming in for Xhaka I suppose.

Really felt Wilshere deserved a chance today.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Pataki: 1:56pm On Oct 01, 2017
Routine football today.

If Wenger cannot even feature Wilshere against a mere Brighton, when will he allow him to play in the EPL?

Another clean sheet
We need to start scoring more, Lacazette should learn positioning and stop running around. He's a good finisher

Routine game from the lads. Nothing to be particularly impressed about.

Next up is Watford after the internationals.

Ramsey has to be the most frustrating player ever. Work so hard for the team, covers a lot of ground, yet misplaces the easiest pass and requires three touches to make up his mind on what to do with the ball.

Just frustrating watching him.

Should have come in for Iwobi instead of Walcott.
Walcott doesn't do well against teams with packed defence.

I'm wondering if Arsene Wenger is trying to force Jack Wilshere out... we needed him yesterday and baba brought in El Neny... immediately midfield collapse... Brighton started pressing us and we couldn't even create any decent chance... if we lose Wilshere... I go vex gan...
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Pataki: 1:22pm On Oct 02, 2017
I think he is trying to protect Wilshere against injuries.......sometimes it is just difficult with Wenger and how he reasons and manages his players.

Pataki is right on the money. Jack is glass footed and had played consecutive games. Heading into the international break Wenger needed to protect him from any injuries. Jack is Wenger's fascination, I think there are rumors he is already offering Jack an extension. I know Jack would get his time, however, we have to be patient so he does not suffer any injury considering he has been away from competitive games for a long time.

Hmmmm. Not in a world where gossip sells like stock gold. Media houses would pay a fortune for a leaked copy of the test result.

unfortunately so. It's not like his being positive will have any effects whatsoever on his career, the problem is the elephant in the room anytime he's on the pitch. The game would probably end up being more about his status than the actual match it self.
