Pericarditis. Inflammation of the pericardium mostly due to viral infection

I think recovery can take days, weeks or months depending on the severity of the condition.
This is terrible, he just signed a new contract earlier this month.

We need to sack our physio and hismedical team asap ( I am not angry cos of what happened to carvajal since it's a heart issue not more like an injury) but those guys are not doing their job. Season just started and almost all our first eleven have been injured. WTF!!!
