Dedetwo:
How illogical could it be with the best schools that produce poorest performing students? One of the best secondary schools in Nigeria is Government College, Umuahia, Abia State. It is not a surprise that Abia State claims the top position in the best students produced. It is only in Yari.ba land where people claim to have the so-called best schools yet produce students that perform below average in WASC. Nigeria is a joke.
check out well, most of the best school listed from tthe south west are private schools while that from the east are government or missionary school.. which tells you the quality of student from governments schools from the east hence they always come top in waec and neco.

We are not interested in percentage admission rates, post number of people admitted. What percentage admission rate means is that if 100 people applied from SW and 40 gets admitted, the % admission rate would be 40% while if 300 people applied in the SE and 90 get admitted, % admission rate would be 30%.

If you present the data above in percentages, SW would seem to have more admissions while in real terms the SE has more students admitted which is really the situation.

There are many Igbos claiming other states as their states of origin. Can we have such data?

Nb: The admission table did not specify States of origin

Re: Best Secondary Schools In Nigeria-waec. by amazingspiderma: 1:01pm On Oct 06, 2017
Based on what criteria were they rated. Was it

WAEC result, interschool debate, core subject competition amongst themselves, school timetable, extra curricula activities, physical structure, laboratories, school fees price, school bus, school financial account, population of students, political status of owners, interschool sport competition.....

Back in those days, we could tell the best school in track and field events during inter house sport competition. WAEC was used as the criteria for school ratings.....
But here and now, people are just speaking out of the blue and expect us to swallow it hook line and sinker.

With this the controversy is laid to rest, the most educated in Nigeria remains the south west. This conclusion is drawn from numbers of students admitted into the university. Igbo will continue to play the catch up game till God allow them to catch up.

This is just JAMB statistics on admission rates and those who took jamb not the percentage rate of performance in JAMB.

I am surprised to seeing that the number of candidates that were admitted in SW is 22.85% while SE is 22.32% as at 2016 ohhhh. Only 0.53% difference, despite the fact that you have more universities in send SE.
Not only that, 40% of those admitted in the SW universities are Igbos especially in Lagos.

Yorubas will forever deceive themselves. The Yoruba nation does not have a bright future.

From having the highest crime rate, open defecation to having the highest HIV cases in the south. They will never learn. All they want to do is to create this illusion that, they’re the best tribe in Nigeria, and all is well. We will continue debunking their lies as they continue to deceive their umunna.
