A cursory analysis of the Merit list indicates that students of Igbo origin make up 75% of the top 20 slots while having 48% of the total number of students admitted on MERIT.

If you look at the list, you'll see the guys in the;
20th position; OBIAGA CHUKWUANUGO P.,
56th position; KANIKWU DAVID C.,
76th position; MOWETE FUMNANYA K.,
83rd position; ALO PRAISE I.,

The students above are clearly Igbo boys but have Lagos as their state of origin.

Extrapolating further with the above result, it shows that 11.1% of candidates on the list who claimed Lagos as their state of origin are Igbos.

Ops what is so special about this kings college of ur? With the no of private sch both in nigeria and foreign country u are talking of king college. After graduating from king college will u get automatic admission to oxford? Just tell me one about that ur sch, that is unique

Assuming your assertion about people now going to Private schools is right, there is a common exam that unifies the whole secondary school students in Nigeria (both public and private schools) and that is SSCE conducted by WAEC and NECO. Do you know what the result pattern is?
