Vacancy for a Web Developer
Job Responsibilities
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
• Filling in for the front-end developer in cases of unavailability.
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Integration of data storage solutions which may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores and other related solutions.
• Ground-up development of mobile applications
• Website design/ development
• Wordpress content management editing
• Implement solutions and create new ideas for micro websites
• Installation of WebEx and set up
• Develop strategy for all pages – both new and existing pages.
• Weekly generation of report for clients end to end
• Conducts research and analysis into future plans and needs of targeted agencies/customers/market opportunities/threats
• Ensure on time deliveries of all projects
• Perform any other task as indicated by the Supervisor
Requirements
• Proven working experience in web programming
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails.
• Knowledge of WordPress Technology and Database-Mysql.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development.
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
• BSc in computer science or a related field.
