Plantain plantation is an ideal environment for Pythons to live, breed and thrive. It's usually cool and moist and comfortable for Pythons.

I just hope the next disease will not come from this new love for killing and eating of snakes . Has most of the diseases affecting people from this part of the world comes from rat , Bush meat , monkey e.t.c

Am actually thinking it would.. You know these reptiles adapt easily ,I won't be surprised if their system develops some kind of hormones that discharge poison once they are killed

Am really beginning to fear the rate of pythons in urban areas ....its alarming

Re: Photos Of A Big Python Killed In A Farm by Jonwesley(m): 7:58pm On Oct 09, 2017
These pythons become vulnerable and easily killed due to their size, and it's hunger that pushes them out like this.

Ask why you hardly see smaller pythons being killed. Because the smaller pythons are difficult to catch or killed. But when they grow bigger like this, they cannot hide or run fast again. Greedy animals, and like an ostrich that hides only its head, living the rest of its big body outside, so also is a python that swallows a big prey and become motionless awaiting to be packed and killed.

In my town we don't kill python. We call it "eke idemili". It's a very big taboo killing or eating it. They roam around freely like domestic animals..
