We are currently hiring a physics teacher and a biology teacher.

Strong experience in private teaching and an understanding of the rudiments of professionalism are required.

The successful candidates will be required to prepare a 15-year-old boy for the forthcoming UME and WAEC. We have a target of 95/100 in UME and A1 in WAEC for both subjects, so if you are interested in this role and meet the below specifications, please send your CV and cover letter.

Physics teacher - must have a BSc/HND/BEd in physics, applied physics, pure physics. Must be experienced and able to teach effectively to achieve the set target. We won't discard applications from those with excellent academic qualifications but without experience. However, the teaching ability must be there.

Biology teacher - must have a BSc/HND/BEd in biology, microbiology, applied biology, cell biology and genetics. Must be experienced and able to teach effectively to achieve the set target. We won't discard applications from those with excellent academic qualifications but without experience. However, the teaching ability must be there.

Teachers who meet or exceed the above targets (A1 in WAEC and >95/100 in UME) get 3 times their monthly pay as a bonus and a movie ticket to any movie of their choice in Lagos. As such, we are looking to hire experienced people who have achieved such a feat before and/or are likely to succeed. People who can deliver.

The student resides in Iyana Ipaja area. It will be hard if you don't live in this area.

I have 4yrs experience in teaching physics I can achieve that target I stay close to iyana ipaja. I take home lessons too

PS: At this time, only those meeting the specific requirements should apply. I know nonphysicist can teach physics, but at this point, we need a physicist. Here we define a physicist as someone with at least a BSc/HND in Physics

I Am A Graduate With Bsc Biology(2nd Class Upper Division,4.12 CGPA),excellent Research,time Management And Problem Solving Skill.I Have Two Years Experience In Teaching Biology. I Am New In Lagos And Still Don't Know The Terrain,i Would Have Been Your Best Solution.I Stays In Lekki(Ikota).

Ikota is like another state in relation to Iyana Ipaja. Your profile looks strong, but you will spend a good chunk of your pay on transport. It isn't worth it. So, I won't advise you to apply. Good luck

For those interested, we are now in need of a capable biology teacher to teach JAMB and prepare a student to score above 95% in UME and A1 in WAEC. Work to begin in a few weeks from now.

The candidate must reside in Ipaja area otherwise the pay we are offering won't cut it. No need applying if you live far away and have to spend more than 300 naira on transportation

For the right candidate, starting salary is between 1,000 - 1,200 per hour. 2 hours per day and twice a week. As has been said, there is a performance related bonus which is at least 3 times the starting salary. The bonus is paid when the target grades are achieved.

Interview date is this Saturday. Send in your CV or ask your friends that are qualified to send in their CVs. Email is baumtenpers@gmail.com.

More info - For a teacher who achieves the two listed targets, there is a possibility of getting a fully paid tuition support to do a master's at a Nigerian federal or state university of your choice. If you already have a master's, your full-time tuition fees as at the time of the master's will be given back to you subject to providing appropriate proofs.
