What is the maximum length of time one can wait before giving up on this visa thing for Australia. Mine is approaching 3months since I went for my biometric assessment and because of the delay I am so pissed off with my agent we even quarreled because i told him to stop lying to me about waiting and waiting, because I feel since he applied from over there it's should be faster am really confused on my next plan of action because all my hope was that by now I should be working over there and recovering the huge money I invested gradually now I don't even know which business to start sef in Nigeria to move on with my life.

Better Goan drink Fanta and buy shoes. This one ya worrying on giving up, but then in response to your question, you can give up immediately you submit you application, or wait till you are just tired like right now. If people gave up I don't think this thread will be in existence.

finally touched down Melbourne on 24th September 2017, a very long trip it was. My POE experience was a little long but it all went well at the end. All glory to God. My advise for those coming to Australia any soon, kindly visit the airport to meet directly with airlines to see if the could fix a flight with less layovers, long layovers could be very tiring trust me am a living testimony. I had to spend 20hrs in Istanbul alone and the only airport within the airport is way too expensive. Also food served weren't that cool for me sha *my opinion*, i heard south African airlines are good but the point is visit the airport or call the airlines sha. If i remember any other thing,would gladly share for now na sleep sure pass.

You are not alone. It's quite disheartening and enervating. Mine is exactly 4 months. Don't give up, just be positive and get busy. It will surely come to fruition. Hopefully in Nov/Dec.

Google iom office in gra ikeja I think it's no 1 Isaac john gra ikeja. U don't get the result they send it straight to the embassy n take ur international passport along. They will only do Uribe test, and chest xray if u r not a medical student.

Not all are sponsored but you have higher chance of been sponsored

Yes you can move from PhD studies to PR

Hahaha don’t fight your Agent not his/her fault yesterday my Agent told me something she said she applied for visa for two applicants same day the result of one of them came 6weeks and few days and the other person is still waiting for his grant she said the funniest thing is that the application of the applicant with grant is not straight forward like the other person

My advice is take your mind off it and pray your application is successful
